December 2022 Skrappy Challenge at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's December, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards, etc. 

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize! 

 

 I used a canvas board with a magnetic backing to create this wintery mixed media piece featuring Caroling Cuties. Those who attended our in person fall retreat this year may recognize this canvas as one of the projects we did in my class. 

You have until Monday, January 2nd to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Kraftin' Kimmie 2022 Advent Calendar- Day 2!

Welcome to the 2022 Kraftin' Kimmie Advent 

Calendar Reveal...Day 2!

This year, Kimmie had a fantastic idea to put together an Advent Calendar featuring 12 amazing stamps! Now this set was a preorder, so if you missed out you'll have to beg her to do another next year lol. For those who got in on the preorder, you have received a fun package of individually gift wrapped stamps, numbered one through twelve. How many of you managed not to peek?? lol  

Each day, one of the designers will be live in the Facebook Group at 10:00 am EST to reveal the stamp set for that day...so much fun! Additionally, after the live video, some of the other designers will be sharing projects they also made with that day's stamp set.

Today, was my turn to host a live video to reveal the second stamp set, PEACE, LOVE AND PAWS! You can catch the replay on the Facebook group to watch me colour this adorable pup in Copics.

Today, Krafty Girl Anna was on live to reveal the first stamp, Shine Like a Star! I made a fun little tag featuring this sweet komeback stamp. This paper is actually some leftovers from the fabulous Holiday Virtual Retreat Kit.

Animal Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

  Good morning and welcome to our Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

This week, our challenge theme is: 

ANIMALS!

 I created a watercolour card featuring the adorable seals from the Puffins and Pals stamp set.   Some of you may recognize this image from a recent Kolour Along video where I showed you how to paint a Northern Lights inspired sky. 

Each Saturday,  we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

A Holiday Card Recipe...a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

A Recipe Challenge:

Glitter, Stencil & Sentiment!

I used one of our gorgeous layered stencils, Pretty Poinsettias in combination with several KKS inks including Bashful Blush, Ruby Red, Berry Bliss, Original Olive, Fresh Fields, Creamy Caramel and Marvelous Mocha. The sentiment is from the Holiday Village stamp set. To complete the recipe, I applied some glittery Platinum Stickles to the flower centres and paper edges.

I made a snow globe featuring images and a sentiment from the SNOWBALL FIGHT! stamp set. The snow globe, trees and filler are from the dollar store. The images were colored in copics. I added some burlap ribbon, rick rack trim and gems to the snow globe base.

Skating Friends...A KKS November 2022 sneak peek

   Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the November Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a wonderful winter set

SKATING FRIENDS!

You'll notice this awesome set coordinates with yesterday's SNOWBALL FIGHT stamp set and features our friends taking part in some fun skating activities!

I made a fun platform card featuring a couple of the images from the Skating Friends set. I used Lawn Fawn dies to create the platform base. The images were coloured in copics. I added some tiny dollar store evergreen trees and KKS chipboard snowflakes to complete the scene.

As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out SKATING FRIENDS! in action in combination with a lot of our other new November Kraftin' Kimmie products!
