Welcome to MAY RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! We’re celebrating with a blog hop, so grab yourself a cup of your favourite beverage, get comfy and be prepared for some krafty eye kandy!
Over the last few days of Krafty Peeks, we have shared projects featuring the new May stamps from all our artists. We’ve got an adorable new nautical kids set from Cheryl called AHOY, SAILOR! There's a FIN-tastic new set from Thais called UNDER THE SEA! Lastly, we are SO excited to share a GORGEOUS new summer stamp set from Annie called....BEACHY KEEN! Images from all the new sets will be featured on today's hop. We are also blessed to have our talented Krafty Guests for May joining us in our hop. They have done a great job with the new stamps...I know they'll inspire you!
As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of these incredible stamps from the new release!! When you’re done, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie shop, because ALL the new images are now available for purchase! And don't forget...if you NEED it all, we have a Gimme Kimmies Kit which features all the new May stamps at a discount...but only for a limited time!
I've got two cards to share with you today. Up first is one of the Beachy Keen girls from Annie. I love these sassy girls...sure which I rocked a bathing suit like they do! lol I used some pretty papers from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Poppy". The trim is from Melissa Frances, the flourish is an MFT die and the flower is from Prima. I stamped the image with Desert Sand Memento Ink for the "no-lines" look and coloured her with Copics.
My second card features two stamps from the Under the Sea set from Thais. Once again I used Desert Sand ink for that no-lines technique...I really love the effect. I first stamped the mermaid with the fish. I then created a mask on scrap paper, trimmed it out and placed it over her. Then I inked up the coral and rocks from the set and stamped it over the mask so that it appears to be tucked behind the main image. Dollar store crochet trim and pearls were added for a finishing touch.
Here's the list for today's hop:
