Also here's a little secret....we'll be having our Annual BOXING WEEK SALE starting on December 26th!! So if you happen to get a little $$ for Christmas, here's the perfect way to spend it! On Krafty goodies for YOU!! Almost EVERYTHING will be on SALE! I had to take the opportunity to squeeze one last Christmas card in for 2013. I love Christmas images, and this gorgeous angel Felicity is one of my absolute favourites. I also did the card in my favourite style, vintage. The papers are MME from last year. All edges were distressed and sponged with gold paint and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I ordered some Frantage embossing powder after seeing so many of my friends use this awesome product on their projects. I also ordered a heat gun...believe it or not, I didn't own one until now. I know, crazy! I used both Shabby White and Aged Gold. I also used some fun new goodies from my friend Jenny...thanks so much Jenny!! She sent me some awesome vintage brads and a package of fun wooden embellishments along with some other fun items...not to mention a beautiful handmade card. Feeling blessed! I coloured the wooden holly sprig with copics and painted the word JOY in gold paint. A bit of crocheted trim and Stardust Stickles for the wings finished it all off.

This card was made with just 1/6th of the contents of a single kit...and I had quite a bit of leftovers from that 1/6th! I could easily have made a couple of little tags. Here's the card I made with 1/6th of the contents of one kit. I also had enough leftovers that I could have made a tag or two. I trimmed one of the card bases down to 5"x5". The cute fairy is Rosabelle...if you don't already own her, she could be your choice of stamp to go along with your kit this month. The sentiment comes with one of our other fairies, Isabelle. Stardust Stickles were added to her wings. I snipped it up and added a bit of Stardust Stickles to frame the words. The flourish is an MFT Die. I also did the interior of my card, but completely forgot to snap a picture of it...sorry about that!

This must be a new and different creation than anything you create for our Saturday challenges. I made a little 4x4 note card for my Wonderful Wednesday project featuring one of the adorable penguins from the Just Chillin'! set. This set includes several penguin images along with several coordinating sentiments. They're perfect for cards, tags, scrapbook pages, gift packaging...so many great possibilities! The paper is some old My Mind's Eye. I added a Maya Road chipboard snowflake that was painted white and then coated with Glamour Dust. The "snow" in the image is Polar White Flower Soft. To finish it off, I added a bit of baker's twine and some dollar store jingle bells.

I was unable to use a proper camera before this post was due to go live, so I had to resort to using my phone...I'll update with a much nicer photo later. The pinks really do match MUCH better in real life and the coloured images are rather washed out. I really need to install an editing program on my phone. :S My card features stamps from two of the sets we're previewing today. The main image of the bird on the branch is from Love Birds. I also used one of the hearts from the Sew In Love set...it actually has text in the centre of the heart, but I selectively inked only the decorative border and stamped that on the music note design paper. Oh, the papers are all from Bo Bunny Love Letters (the papers included in the November Krafty Kardmaking Kit!). The sweet pair of lovebirds is also from the Sew In Love set.

We hope you'll join us for all the fun! As mentioned earlier, six of us Krafty Girls divided one of the November kits up to give you an idea of what all can be made from just one kit! My sample features the gorgeous Rose...if you fancy her, you could choose her as your $8.00 stamp to be included with your kit! I trimmed by black card base down from 6"x6" to 5"x5" so that I could use those scraps for some die cut embellishments. The decorative black border was cut with Spellbinders Parisian Accents and the flourishes are an MFT Die...I just cut out select curls from the flourish die as my cardstock strip was skinny. The lace surrounding the image is included in the kit. I cut a larger oval out of pink cardstock for matting the image. However, in order for the lace to be more visible, I coloured the pink cardstock with a black marker...an easy way to create your own black cardstock where needed. ;) The little metal charm part of the kit. OH! I've include a SNEAK PEAK of a set we'll be unveiling over the next few days called Sew In Love! See that teal button?? That's actually a stamp from this fabulous new set. I stamped it on patterned paper, added a bit of shading, used a white gel pen on the stitching and then covered the button with Glossy Accents. You're going to LOVE the Sew In Love set when it's revealed during previews this week! I sponged around the image with Antique Linen and Spun Sugar Distress Inks. I also used Black Soot Distress Ink on all paper edges and used my scissor edge to distress the paper.

This week our hostess is SHERI!! And her challenge is PICK A HOLIDAY!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp featuring any holiday you choose! It could be Halloween, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day....or something totally obscure!! You choose and have FUN!!! Join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubbah!!! Here's my card featuring one of the super cute images from theJoyful Holidayset. I combined it with a sentiment that comes with another KK Stamp,Santa and Pup. I added baker's twine, dollar store jingle bells, some punched snowflakes, a punched border and black pearls for embellishments. The corner embellishments were cut with Classic Corner Dies by SCACD.

My card features one of the adorable images from theHave An Ice Day set. I love this little guy! The papers are Snow Day from Bo Bunny (which just happens to be the same paper in the October Kits!). I used Polar White Flower Soft for the snow. The big snowflake was cut with a Memory Box Die and the little acrylic snowflakes are from the dollar store. I coated with with Glossy Accents and gave them a generous sprinkle of Glamour Dust. I added some rhinestones as a finishing touch.

Hi there! I have loved art since I was a little girl and you could often find me with a pencil and sketchbook in hand.
