Here's my card featuring Rock Star...isn't she fun?! I stamped her in Memento Desert Sand ink and coloured her with Copics, The fun sentiment comes with the stamp. I distressed my papers, sponged them with black ink and then added some bling with rhinestones and Stardust Stickles.

Welcome to the November Release Blog Hop at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!!

My card today features the gorgeous Icy Fairy by Krafty artist Annie Rodrigue. Isn't she gorgeous?? I stamped her in Memento Desert Sand and coloured her with Copics. Her wings and antennae were given a bit of sparkle with Stardust Stickles. The paper is from MME (pretty sure it's called Vintage Christmas). I distressed the paper edges and then added some brown ink and gold acrylic paint. I also added some Frantage embossing powder in both Shabby White and Antique Gold. The holly leaf and word "Joy" are wooden cutouts that were coloured and/or painted before adhering.

My card today features the gorgeous Pompom Fairy by Annie Rodrigue...I adore these fairies!! I stamped her in Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured her with Copics. I added some Stardust Stickles to her wings. The paper is from one of my favourite Bo Bunny pads. As it's an older pad, it's not in stock, but make sure to check out the KKS shop...there are many seasonal paper pads that would suit these new fairies beautifully! I distressed the paper edges and inked them with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The snowflake embellishment is a Memory Box Die. I added a few rhinestones for a finishing touch.

I've used one of the awesome zombies from the new Trick or Eat set! This set is a must have for all you Halloween lovers out there! I coloured my zombie with Copics and used some fabulous Graphic 45 Eerie Tale paper. The sentiment is part of the set.

The Sea is Calling Me

Welcome back for another fun challenge at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps! This week our hostess is Becky and her challenge is Ships Ahoy/Water Themed, so create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp or any other stamp that fits this theme and play along! Have some krafty fun and join us this week for your chance to win a $10 gift card to the Shop!

I love mermaids, so I used Becky's Water Themed challenge as an opportunity to pull out one of my favourites from the Sea Jewels set. (the set includes three mermaids and several coordinating sentiments) I used some fabulous vintage papers from a Graphic 45 paper pad, which unfortunately is no longer in stock. However, make sure to click HERE to see the paper pads currently in stock at the KKS store! I really loved the paper with the lighthouse, seashore and text...I have a thing for text on patterned paper. This paper originally included a picture of a women and two children, but I trimmed it down to spotlight the portion I wanted as a backdrop for the mermaid. I also trimmed some of the seashells and starfish from the teal patterned paper to use as a frame around the focal layer. The flourish is an MFT die and I added some pearls. All paper edges were sponges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I stamped the mermaid from Sea Jewels in Memento Desert Sand and coloured her with Copics.

Vampire Queen...Release Day At Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Welcome to August Release day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS and we’re celebrating with a krafty hop!! 

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of spooky new stamps from all our artists for our August release. We’ve got an adorable new fall kids set from Cheryl called HEY THERE, PUNKIN'! There's a new set of fabulous trick or treaters from Thais called CANDY CORN KISSES! And of course, we are SO excited to share two new wicked stamp sets from Annie called....DRAGON QUEEN and VAMPIRE QUEEN!

I mentioned the other day when I posted a card featuring Dragon Queen that she was one of my new favourite images. I've used my other new favourite image on today's card...this is Vampire Queen! Isn't she fabulous?! I love every detail about her, from that billowing goth dress, to the skulls around her waist, to that fabulous hair. I had SO much fun colouring this stamp!! I used some older Halloween paper from last year...of course it had to have a vintage feel, as that's my favourite style. ;) I used several dies on this card: Spellbinders Parisian Accents for the middle border, an MFT die for the flourish and Ornate Hinges from Dies by SCACD for the embellishments on the left hand side of the card. All paper edges were distressed and sponged with black ink. I added some rhinestones and a metal key as finishing touches.

Dragon Queen...A Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek!

Welcome back to day two of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps AUGUST previews! Today we are introducing two frightening new Moonlight Whispers stamp sets by Annie Rodrigue!

Today the Krafty Girls and I are thrilled to share with you....VAMPIRE QUEEN and DRAGON QUEEN!  Each set comes with the fabulous queen image stamp, plus three coordinating sentiments and an accessory stamp!

I think these Queens may be my new favourite stamps by Annie! I absolutely LOVE them, and couldn't wait to colour them up! For today's sneak peek, I created a card featuring Dragon Queen.   I stamped her in Memento Desert Sand ink and coloured her with my Copics. I used some gorgeous new Graphic 45 papers called An Eerie Tale, which just happens to be currently in stock at the KKS Store!! (just click the link to be taken to the page) I love the vintage feel of these papers. The decorative border, corner embellishments and sentiment tag were all cut with Spellbinders Parisian Accents.  Speaking of the sentiment, I LOVE this one!! It's one of three that comes with this stamp. The flourish is an MFT die.

Hey There Punkin'!

Hey everyone!! Welcome to day ONE of our AUGUST Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!

Up first is a fun fall set from artist CHERYL GRANT! It features three sweet images with our fave kiddos.....Lexi, Lulu and Lucas along with nine coordinating sentiments! This fabulous set is called HEY THERE, PUNKIN'!!

I used this sweet image of Lexie with a fresh from the oven pie. I had some older fall papers that included a sheet of tags...how perfect was this homemade pie tag?! Well, it was almost perfect...it actually had some little apples on the tag, but I covered them with a fun pumpkin button to tie into the image.

My card today is a little off season, lol.  We had a Christmas in July challenge last month that I wasn't able to participate in, and ever since I've had the holiday cardmaking itch! So, since Wonderful Wednesdays are always "Anything Goes", it was the perfect opportunity to satisfy that urge. ;) I pulled out the fabulous Holiday Trinkets and some pretty Bo Bunny paper from last year. The Trinket was matted on Spellbinders Lacey Circles and an acrylic dollar store snowflake. I added a snowflake border cut with a Memory Box Die. The "snow" was created with white acrylic paint that was sprinkled with Glamour Dust while still wet. I also added some Stardust Stickles and more Glamour Dust to the snowflake.

I used one of the cute stamps from the new You're A Rockstar! set that was released this month. Included in this set are three adorable young musicians and several coordinating sentiments. I used some older Bo Bunny paper, but make sure you check out the paper pads at the KKS store...Kimmie just added some brand new pads!! The image was stamped in Memento Desert Sand ink and coloured with Copics. I paper-pieced her pj's and added some shading with my markers. The music paper was cut and matted with Spellbinders Circles and Lacey Circles. The pearls were made with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen in black.

Picture Perfect...Release Day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Welcome to the JULY RELEASE BLOG HOP at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! 

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have introduced you to the new July stamps from all our artists. We’ve got an adorable new musical kids set from Cheryl called YOU'RE A ROCKSTAR! There's a furry new set from Thais called A KOALA-TY FRIEND! Lastly, we are SO excited to share a picture perfect new stamp set from Annie called....OH, SNAP!

My hop card today features one of the sassy Oh, Snap! girls. I used some gorgeous Graphic 45 papers called Botanical Tea...this 8x8 pad is in stock and on sale at the KKS Shop right now!!  I LOVE the patterns and vintage feel of this paper pad. It's definitely one of my favourites! All paper edges were distressed and sponged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress Inks were used on the paper doily to antique it. I added some crocheted trim and pearls to finish it off. The Oh, Snap! photographer was stamped in Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured with Copics. The polka-dotted portion of her dress was paper-pieced with some of the Graphic 45 papers. I added some shading to the paper-pieced part with Copics.

You're a Rockstar!

Welcome back to day THREE of our JULY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks! We are excited to share the newest set of THREE images with matching sentiments from CHERYL! This musical new set will make your heart SING and it is called YOU'RE A ROCKSTAR!!

Oh Snap!

Welcome back to Day TWO of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps JULY previews!!! We are continuing on with the creativity and fun with a fabulous new Moonlight Whispers stamp set by Annie Rodrigue!! We think you'll agree that this new set is PICTURE PERFECT!!

Today the Krafty Girls and I are thrilled to share with you....OH, SNAP!! You'll find so many gorgeous creations on today's hop featuring both new images and sentiments from the set! We know you are just going to LOVE these fun ladies and be inspired by all the lovely designs!!

I used the "selfie" girl from the new Oh, Snap! set. I adore this sassy girl...she's got such a great style! If I looked like this, you might catch me taking more selfies, lol. I also used the "Smile" sentiment from the set...love this fun font! I used some scraps of old MME paper to make this 5x5 card...I think it's called Collectibles. This pad isn't in stock at the store, but make sure to check out the awesome paper selection in the KKS shop HERE. The corner embellishments are Classic Corner Dies by SCACD. The image was stamped with Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured with Copics.

A Koala-ty Friend!

Hey everyone!! Welcome to day ONE of our JULY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! We have so many goodies in store for you and we've been itchin' to share them! So here we GO!!

We are SO thrilled to share the newest set of furry friend stamps from artist THAIS NARCISO! This super sweet set is called A KOALA-TY FRIEND!!

These koalas are so sweet and a lot of fun to colour! This is one of three main images in the set. The set also contains several coordinating sentiments. I stamped the image on Neenah paper with Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured with Copics. The vines are a Memory Box die and the paper is MME.

Avast, Me Hearties!

Good morning everybody and welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! This week, our hostess is Miss Kraftin' Kimmie herself and she's created a fun sketch to play along with! We hope you participate in the challenge for your chance to win...just make sure to use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp on your submission!

I used one of the adorable stamps from the new Lil' Swashbucklers set. The sentiment is also from the set...I just stamped the words individually to have them in their own circles to fit with the sketch layout. I stamped Lucas in Memento Desert Sand ink, coloured him with Copics, fussy cut him out and adhered him to the map patterned paper...what pirate doesn't love a good treasure map?! Oh, and speaking of patterned paper, make sure to check out all the gorgeous paper pads at the KKS Shop...you'll find them HERE. I added a couple of buttons and some twine to finish it off.
