Welcome to the last Wonderful Wednesday challenge for April with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!

Your submission must use at least one Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp but can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter at the KKS challenge blog until May 6th when the winner for April will be announced!! 

**Please note that you are more than welcome to combine this Wonderful Wednesday Share to Win challenge with other challenges, BUT not our regular weekly challenges. This must be a new and different creation than anything you create for our Saturday challenges.

I used the new Monster Hugs Set for my card today...I ADORE these cute monsters!! I kept my layout pretty simple. The paper is from an old MME pad. The sentiment is part of the stamp set. 

I coloured the image with Copics. In case you're interested, I used this image for a video tutorial on colouring grass...it can be found over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps YouTube channel. Krafty Bingo!

Well, welcome back for another fabulously FUN challenge here at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!! We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can win stamps! 

This week our hostess is Krafty Girl, Stephanie! And her challenge is BINGO! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp that features a line on our provided BINGO card. It's challenging, but lots of FUN! 

I created a diagonal bingo using twine, lace (I used crocheted lace trim), free spot, vintage style and a brad (in the centre of the flower). That being said, my card didn't come off quite as vintage and I wanted. lol I used one of adorable stamps from the new Rainy Day Fun set. I paper pieced her umbrella, raincoat and boot. The sentiment is also part of the stamp set.

Bloomin' Wonderful...It's Release Day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

We're so excited! It’s our APRIL RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!! We're going to inspire your creations with our fun new stamps! OH and we've got some EXTRA SPECIAL things going on for you this month!!

Here's my card for today's hop featuring one of the beautiful gardeners from the Bloomin' Wonderful set. I adore these gorgeous girls from Krafty Artist Annie Rodrigue. These images are perfect for so many occasions....birthdays, friendship, Mother's Day or "just because" cards. I followed a sketch from Scrapfest last weekend for the layout. The sentiment on my card was part of the paper pad I used, but the Bloomin' Wonderful set has several fantastic sentiments perfect for your cards or projects.

Play a Happy Tune!

Welcome back to another day of our APRIL Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! We are thrilled to share the newest set of four images with matching sentiments from THAIS called MONSTER HUGS!!

Here's my card featuring one of the adorable monsters and sentiments from Monster Hugs. These sweet monsters totally remind me of the cartoon My Pet Monster, which I adored as a child! This is a fun set that I'm sure you'll reach for time and time again as it's great for both girls and boys. I used Spellbenders for matting the image and sentiment. I also used a fun MFT die to add some additional music notes.

Rainy Day Fun with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Welcome to day ONE of our APRIL Kraftin' Kimmie Previews!!! Today, we're introducing a cute new set featuring Lulu, Lexi and Lucas by artist Cheryl Alger to help us welcome spring...get ready for some RAINY DAY FUN!!

The Krafty Girls and Guests listed at the end of my post have lots of FUN designs to show you. I spent last weekend at Scrapfest in Kitchener with some of my favourite Krafty friends! We had a blast...love hanging out with those girls!! Not only did we have a ton of fun, but we were also really productive! I finished three cards for this month's release which is definitely a record for me at a crop. This is the first card I completed last weekend for a sketch challenge at the crop. We also had to use three items received in our goodie bags...these included the design paper, the cute burlap tree and a "handmade by" stamp which is on the back of my card. I used my favourite image from the Rainy Day Fun set...aren't those frogs adorable??!! The "adventure" sentiment is from the paper pad, but this stamp set comes with several coordinating sentiments. The decorative border around the image was created with an MFT die and the sentiment was mounted on a tag cut with a Spellbinders set.

Animals!

Good morning everybody!! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend planned...I'm spending mine at Scrapfest with Kimmie and a bunch of krafty friends!! I'm sure we'll be uploading pictures on facebook. ;)

Our challenge today is Animals. There are so many great Kraftin' Kimmie stamps that suit this challenge!

I used one of the cute images from the new Down on the Farm 2 set. I love this sweet stamp of Lulu surrounded by her animal friends. I used some snippets of MME paper to create this 4"x4" notecard. Lulu was stamped in Memento on Neenah paper. Her shirt was paper-pieced with the MME paper and I added some shading with my markers.

My Wonderful Wednesday card for this week features Dorothy. This is the image I used in my first video tutorial on colouring pleats that was posted Monday over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps YouTube Channel. Feel free to hop over there to have a peek...but maybe grab a cup of coffee first, because what I thought would be fifteen minutes actually turned into a little over half an hour. lol  You can find the video HERE.  I think the paper is Authentique. I used a paper doily, some beaded trim I picked up at the fabric store, some die cut flourishes made with a Memory Box Die and some pearls.

My First Video Tutorial for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Good morning everybody! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, and that your Monday is off to a fantastic start. :)


Did you know that Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has a YouTube channel??!! There have been several fantastic videos posted by Kimmie and the Krafty Girls featuring krafty tips and tutorials...it's a great place for learning and inspiration!


Which leads me to the subject of my post...I FINALLY recorded a video tutorial! GASP. I know...I've been saying for ages that I would do one, but to be honest, I've been a little scared and so I've kept putting it off. I finally swallowed my fear and did it...and maybe it wasn't quite as scary as I thought it would be. ;)


My first tutorial is on colouring pleats and features the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp "Dorothy" from the Wizard of Oz collection. I coloured most of the image in advance, leaving a section of the skirt for the video with the intention of keeping it to about 15 minutes. Wishful thinking, lol. I'm really slow with colouring, and so the video is just over 30 minutes. I tried not to babble too much, but you might want to grab a cup of coffee or tea and get comfy before settling in to watch!
