Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps..as always, t's ANYTHING GOES!!

Your Wonderful Wednesday submission must use at least one Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp but can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....the choice is up to you!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on THIS post until June 3rd. At the end of the month, one winner will be chosen from all the submissions that month and will receive a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps prize pack!!! So if there are four Wednesdays, you have FOUR chances to WIN!!

I used the newly release Under the Sea set for my card today. This is an adorable set featuring stamps that can be combined to make a scene, or used individually as the focal image. It also includes several coordinating sentiments, including the one seen on my card. I inked up this sweet stamp with Memento Desert Sand ink and coloured it with my Copics. All paper edges were distressed and sponged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. To finish it up, I added some crocheted lace, pearls, an MFT die cut flourish, a cute wooden button (thanks so much Becky!!!) and a bit of brown thread.

Pop on over the the KKS Challenge Blog to see the other Wonderful Wednesday creations by the Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests...I hope you play along!!

A Whole Lot of Summer Fun for the May Kraftin' Kimmie Release!!

Welcome to MAY RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! We’re celebrating with a blog hop, so grab yourself a cup of your favourite beverage, get comfy and be prepared for some krafty eye kandy!

Over the last few days of Krafty Peeks, we have shared projects featuring the new May stamps from all our artists. We’ve got an adorable new nautical kids set from Cheryl called AHOY, SAILOR! There's a FIN-tastic new set from Thais called UNDER THE SEA! Lastly, we are SO excited to share a GORGEOUS new summer stamp set from Annie called....BEACHY KEENImages from all the new sets will be featured on today's hop. We are also blessed to have our talented Krafty Guests for May joining us in our hop. They have done a great job with the new stamps...I know they'll inspire you!

As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of these incredible stamps from the new release!! When you’re done, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie shop, because ALL the new images are now available for purchase! And don't forget...if you NEED it all, we have a Gimme Kimmies Kit which features all the new May stamps at a discount...but only for a limited time!

I've got two cards to share with you today. Up first is one of the Beachy Keen girls from Annie. I love these sassy girls...sure which I rocked a bathing suit like they do! lol  I used some pretty papers from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Poppy". The trim is from Melissa Frances, the flourish is an MFT die and the flower is from Prima. I stamped the image with Desert Sand Memento Ink for the "no-lines" look and coloured her with Copics.

My second card features two stamps from the Under the Sea set from Thais. Once again I used Desert Sand ink for that no-lines technique...I really love the effect. I first stamped the mermaid with the fish. I then created a mask on scrap paper, trimmed it out and placed it over her. Then I inked up the coral and rocks from the set and stamped it over the mask so that it appears to be tucked behind the main image. Dollar store crochet trim and pearls were added for a finishing touch.

Here's the list for today's hop:

Beachy Keen!

Welcome back to Day TWO of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps MAY previews!!! We are back with a fabulous new Moonlight Whispers stamp set by Annie Rodrigue called BEACHY KEEN!! This set includes two summer ladies along with the three fun sentiments.

I'm not exactly what you'd call sun lover...to be honest, I kind of avoid it. lol  No I'm not a vampire, but I'm about as pale as one! My red hair and fair skin don't play nicely with the summer sun...I burn just thinking about being out in it. However, if I looked as gorgeous as this sun loving gal from the Beachy Keen set, I just may spend some time lounging on the beach! One thing I do have in common with her, is that I LOVE spending my leisure time reading...and I do like to read outside, as long as it's in the safety of the shade. ;)  I stamped the image in Memento Desert Sand and coloured her with Copics. The paper is an older Simple Stories collection.

Below you will find all the Krafty Girls who have previews to share today. While you're visiting their blogs, be sure to leave comments at each stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN a package of today's stamps!!

ALL of our MAY stamps will be available on Saturday morning at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop! We'll be celebrating at our LIVE ONLINE RELEASE PARTY over at our KKS Facebook fan page...hope you can join us for all the fun!! You can find more details HERE

Ahoy Sailor!!

Welcome to day ONE of our MAY Kraftin' Kimmie previews!!! Today we are excited to share the cute new set called AHOY, SAILOR featuring Lulu, Lexi and Lucas!

This sweet image of Lexie holding an anchor is my favourite from the new set Ahoy, Sailor! Isn't she sweet? I stamped her in Memento Desert Sand for the no-lines look and coloured her with Copics. She was stamped on X-press It paper. I'm a Neenah fan, but have been trying this paper out recently. I don't mind it, but Neenah is still by far my favourite. I added a fun sprinkle of freckles across her cheeks and nose with my E33 marker. I used some Graphic 45 clear stamps to create a border around her...these were stamped in Memento Summer Sky. She was cut out with Spellbinders. I'm pretty sure the papers are Basic Grey Picadilly, but the cover from the pad somehow got lost, lol. All paper edges were sponged with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. The corner embellishments were cut with the Contempo Compass Statement Corner Die from SCACD. The flourish is a MFT die. The flowers are Prima and I centered them with some metal jewelry spacers that I picked up from Walmart.

All the Krafty Girls and Guests listed below have fantastic designs to show you, so be sure to hop over to each of them! While hopping, be sure to leave a comment on each blog because we are giving away one of the new sets and YOU could WIN! {All of this week's winners will be announced at the online party on Saturday morning...click HERE for details!}

Please join us tomorrow for another fun day of previews! All the new May stamps will be available on Saturday morning at the KKStamps Shop!!

Oldie but Goodie

Hey there Kraftin' Kimmie Fans!! It's time for another weekly challenge, and I'm your hostess this week. ;)  My challenge is "Oldie but Goodie". I often get so busy playing with my newest stamps, that some of my older ones go un-inked for ages. Poor stamps. So I thought it would be fun to pull out some of your well-loved older stamps and show them a little love! You could also dig through your krafty stashes and find some oldie but goodie embellishments to go along with the challenges as well!

I ADORE mermaids, so I pulled out one of my favourite Kraftin' Kimmie mermaids, Marina. Isn't she gorgeous?! I stamped her with Memento Desert Sand to create the "no lines" look. She was coloured with Copics, cut out with Spellbinders Circles and matted with Spellbinders Lacey Circles. It's been a while since I pulled out my sewing machine to add stitching to a card...I forgot how much I love the look of it! The paper is from an older Authentique pad. (click HERE to see the great selection of paper pads at the KKS shop) I added a double bow, a little starfish charm, pearl sprays, a few additional flat backed pearls and some Stardust Stickles to finish it off.
