KKS February 2024 Challenge : Mid Month Post

   Good morning and welcome to our  

February Mid-Month Challenge Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are:

Love/Hearts and/or Things That Hop!

I chose to use the Love/ Hearts theme for my card. i made a background using two KKS stencils (Breezy Backgounds and Stained Glass) with four KKS Inks (Salty Sea, Charming  Chartreuse,  Ocean Opulence and Aqua Adventure). I stamped this adorable chap from our Beary Love set and coloured him with markers.  I gave him a watercolour inspired background by using coordinating markers applied in a dotting motion followed by pouncing a blender marker over the colours.  I also added some of the little heart accessory stamps from the set as accents.

Every month we post a brand new challenge with two themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until February 29th!

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Our Challenges are now combined with the 

Skrappy Challenge (first Tuesday of the Month)

and the Christmas Challenge In the Krafty Friends FB group! So feel free to enter any or all of these - the monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Woohoo!  There are two ways to enter: you can link up your creation on the  Kraftin’ Kimmie blog page and if using KKS products, you can upload your photo to the album in our Krafty Friends FB group.  *These are all challenges we have done in the past but now when you upload them, please put them all in the one challenge album!

February 2024 KKS Sneak Peeks, Day 2

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the February Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set 

by artist Neda Sadreddin

 called...

Gear Up!

These robots are absolutely awesome!! You'll find them perfect for birthday, thank you and so many more themes! Who doesn't love a cute robot!!

I inked up the little robot, coloured him with markers and added a bit of shading with pencils. I used the gears and bolts from the set to create a "patterned paper" panel and coloured the images in the same manner as the robot. Finally, I added a sentiment from the set and a few Krafty Dots to finish it off.

Here's my card featuring this adorable new set. I made the background panel by embossing some textured cardstock with our Happy Hearts stencil then sanding the raised areas.
