Alice in Wonderland...a Krafin' Kimmie Komeback Stamp!

We have a fantastic surprise for you at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps today....it's time for another Krafty Komeback!

As you know, Kimmie made the switch from rubber to clear stamps a couple of years ago, so many of our old beloved stamps are no longer available. However, Kimmie has decided to re-release some of your favourites as new clear stamp sets! Today marks the return of...

This gorgeous stamp was drawn by krafty artist Annie Rodrigue. She is so much fun to colour, especially for those of us who love pleats and hair! Alice is perfect for so many occasions. The Krafty Krew has been busy creating projects featuring this Komeback stamp...the complete list of blogs will be at the bottom of my post. When you're done hopping around, make sure to head over to the KKS shop where Alice is now available for purchase!

I stamped Alice in Memento Desert Sand ink and coloured her with Copics. I also added a bit of additional shading with coloured pencils. I absolutely LOVE this sentiment that comes with the set!

KKS is definitely known and loved for our amazing images to colour, but we also have some awesome sentiment sets! These sets can be combined with a coloured image, or used as a focal point on projects. I chose to make a quick CAS card using our Sincere Thanks sentiment set. I combined two of the sentiments and stamped them with Versafine ink. The paper edges were all antiqued with distress ink. I layered two flowers and added a few pearls to finish it off. You could easily use this set to whip up a bunch of tags or little note cards...we actually used this set in our make and takes at Scrapfest a couple of weeks ago. There are so many possibilities!

Hope you plan to play along...thanks for stopping by!

Cinderella on Canvas...a Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek!

Welcome to Day TWO of our April Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...we have another gorgeous fairytale princess to share with you today by artist Annie Rodrigue... CINDERELLA!

Image may contain: text
This is such a magical image featuring the sweet princess and her gorgeous ball gown, and the set comes with three fabulous sentiments!

At the end of my post, you'll find links to all the Krafty Team and Guests who have creations to share with you today featuring the CINDERELLA stamp set! You'll see her in so many different colours and scenes. Be sure to hop around and leave lots of love at each and every stop because one lucky commenter will WIN a gift voucher to the krafty shop! The winner will be announced at the LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday at 2pm EST, so be sure to join us for all the krafty fun!

I've been on a bit of a canvas kick lately and I couldn't pass up the chance to create another featuring Cinderella. I started with an inexpensive canvas board and painted a black background. I then created a galaxy sky with blue, purple, pink, orange and white. All paints used were Liquitex Basics. I then flicked some white paint over the sky to create little stars and loosely added some dark green as grass. Cinderella was stamped in Memento Desert Sand on Neenah paper and coloured with Copics. I added the magic swirls in with white coloured pencil and highlighted the spell with a white Sharpie paint pen. (This technique is similar to one Zoe from Make It Crafty demonstrated a while back on facebook...love her colouring!) After fussy cutting her out, I placed the image on the canvas and sketched out where the magic swirls would extend past her dress. I removed the image and painted the swirls with watered down acrylic paint to match those created with the pencil and applied the highlights with the Sharpie pen. Cinderella was then adhered to the canvas board. I also added some pumpkins from our Harvest Blessings clear stamp set. (Love finding ways to combine our various sets!) The flourishes were cut with an MFT die while the bottom corner embellishment is an SCACD die. Finally, I painted a chipboard clock with silver and distressed it with black ink as a finishing touch.

Brigitte...Wonderful Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! As always, the theme is ANYTHING GOES. You can submit your creation at the KKS challenge blog...it can be any project in any theme as long as it's a NEW creation. At the end of the month, Kimmie will draw one lucky winner from all the April submissions...the prize is a gift card to the KKS shop!

My card features the newly re-released Brigitte! She was originally released several years ago...Kimmie has brought her back by popular demand as a new clear stamp set! She's such a great image to use for cards and projects for those who deserve a little pampering! I stamped her in Memento Desert Sand and coloured her with Copics. I added some stardust stickles to the bath bubbles for just a little bling. The sentiment comes with the set.

If you are in need of a little kickstart for your mojo, you can use our April sketch. If you use it in any challenge this month, you will get an extra chance to win the monthly gift card!
