Holiday Momma

Good morning and welcome to Day Four of the Christmas Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Prepare yourself for a ton of holiday fun as we share this week's previews featuring NINE beautiful new clear stamp sets. Each day, we will share projects featuring new stamps by one of our Krafty Artists. The week will culminate in our LIVE ONLINE RELEASE PARTY Saturday evening at 6:00 pm EST on our facebook group. You don't want to miss the fun as we chat about the stamps, share lots of creations and give away prizes! After the party, all the stamps will be available for purchase at the KKS Online shop! We will also have a release blog hop on Sunday to share even more inspiration featuring the September release.

Today's sneak peeks feature two of four new stamps by Annie Rodrigue called Holiday Daddy-O and Holiday Momma!  Each stamp comes with several coordinating sentiments. These stamps work beautifully to create a scene, but they can also be used individually.

I used Holiday Momma on my card today. I stamped her in Dessert Sand Memento Ink and coloured her with Copics. I kept the layout clean and simple by just adding a bit of twine and some jingle bells.

Here's a shot of the two stamp sets:

Below you will find links to all the Krafty Girls who have previews to share with you today.

Good morning and welcome to Day Two of the Christmas Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

We will also have a release blog hop on Sunday to share even more inspiration featuring the September release.

Today's sneak peeks feature a gorgeous new snow globe set from Krafty Artist Becky Pearce called SHAKE IT UP!  It includes a snow globe stamp plus an assortment of animals, accessory stamps and sentiments...there are a total of 18 elements in this set! And it's not just limited to creating snow globes...you'll be amazed by all the creative ways to use this set!

This set was an add-on option for those who preordered the Surprise Kit a couple of months back.  One of the fun bonuses of ordering these kits is the invitation to play along with the sneak peeks for the stamp sets included in the kit...you will likely see some special guest designers on today's hop for extra inspiration!

I made a little Christmas note card using the snow globe, penguins, gifts and a sentiment plate for the base of the globe. The images were all coloured with Copics.  I added glamour dust for the snow and then coated the globe with Glossy Accents. All paper edges were sponged with distress ink.

Listed below are all the sneak peeks featuring SHAKE IT UP! Don't forget to leave comments at each blog for your chance to win a gift voucher for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop..the winner will be announced at the online party this Saturday!

Santa Paws....A Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek!

Good morning and welcome to Day ONE of the Christmas Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

We will also have a release blog hop on Sunday to share even more inspiration featuring the September release.

We're kicking things off today with an adorable set by artist, Emilie Goulet called SANTA PAWS...it features two main images plus three coordinating sentiments.

You might remember the Surprise Kit that was available for preorder a couple of months ago...this was one of the stamp sets in the kit! And all the krafty kustomers who purchased the kit were invited to help out with the peeks today so you'll see lots of extra guest designers as you hop around the blogs! We're so excited to have them join in the fun!

My card features the puppy image from the SANTA PAWS set...love this sweet image! I selected some vintage Christmas papers, coloured the image with Copics and embellished with some distress inks, frantage embossing powder and gold paint. I also added a couple of wooden snowflakes painted with gold acrylic paint and a little rhinestone.

Listed below are all the Krafty Girls and Guests who have sneak peeks to share with you featuring the SANTA PAWS stamp set! Be sure to hop around and leave lots of love at each and every stop because one lucky commenter will WIN a gift voucher to the krafty shop! The winner will be announced at the party, so don't miss it!

Vintage Teacup Fairy

Good morning krafty friends and welcome to our weekly challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I am your hostess this week and my challenge theme is a personal favourite: Vintage/Distress!

Most people who know me are well aware of my love for all things vintage. Whether it's papers or embellishments, if it has a vintage feel, I'm all over it!

For this challenge, I first chose the gorgeous clear stamp set Teacup Fairy by Krafty artist Annie Rodrigue. I then started looking through my papers and found the perfect pad from Graphic 45. Not only did it already have a vintage appearance, but it was also tea themed!! I selected this sheet with the teapot and a beautiful friendship sentiment already included on the paper. Teacup Fairy also comes with several great coordinating sentiments. I distressed my paper edges and added a few embellishments. The fairy was stamped and coloured in Copics. I stamped the teacup on some patterned paper and added shading before piecing them together. Her wings were given a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella marker.

Hop on over to the challenge blog to see what my fellow Krafty Girls and Guests have created for the vintage/distress challenge.  Then it's your turn...pull out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get inky! If you play along, you'll have a chance to win the monthly draw for a KKS shop gift card! Harvest Blessings...A Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Scrappy Challenge!

Hey krafty friends! Welcome to the monthly Krafty Scrappy Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! For this challenge, we want to you stretch your creativity beyond the comfort zone of cards...no cards allowed!! There are so many options for your submission...create a scrapbook layout, a planner page, a tag, an altered item, gift packaging...so many options!

Here's a run down of the rules:

  1. Create any project!! (remember, NO CARDS!) Theme: Anything Goes!
  2. Your project must be new (created on or after this post date).
  3. Your project must feature a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp.
  4. You have a month to submit over at the challenge blog....and you can submit as many times as you wish!
  5. We must have at least 5 entries. One random winner will be chosen at the end of the submission period.
  6. Don't forget to pop on over the the KKS facebook page to share your creation as well!

I pulled out one of our new August stamp sets called Harvest Blessings and created a tag.  I used all three pumpkins from the set and stamped them on various design paper (pretty sure this pad was from Simple Stories, although the lightest pumpkin was from Authentique). Shading was added with Copic markers. The pumpkins were fussy-cut and positioned in a little group on my tag. The sentiment is also from the stamp set.  The "Fall" banner at the top is actually part of the design paper...I just fussy-cut the banner segments and glued them onto the tag. All paper edges were distressed with ink and scissors.  Note: One of the pumpkins in this set has a cute little kitty peeking out from behind. Since I just wanted the pumpkins for this tag, I simply selectively inked only the pumpkin portion of the stamp.

Hope you plan to play along! For more scrappy inspiration, make sure to check out the challenge blog!

Blessings,

Melanie

Magic! (A Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge)

Good morning and welcome to our weekly challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Our lovely hostess this week is Delphine and she has conjured up a them of MAGIC!

Delphine's theme was perfect for so many stamps released over the last two months. I used a combination of sets on my card. To create my focal image, I stamped Lexie from Make Your Own Magic, masked her, then stamped the pumpkin and kitty from Harvest Blessings. The sentiment is from the Witch Willa set. The images were stamped in Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured with Copics. I added some sparkle to Lexie's "spell" with Stickles, Zigg Wink of Stella and white acrylic paint.

For more magical inspiration, hop on over to the KKS blog to see what the other crafty girls and crafty guests have created. Then it's your turn to get inky! Make sure to submit your entry for your chance to win the monthly draw for a gift card to the KKS shop.

If you need a little kick start to your mojo, check out our August sketch...you can use it in any challenge or Wonderful Wednesday submission. You don't have to use the sketch, but if you do, you will get an additional chance to win the monthly gift card!
