Christmas Blessings...Kicking off the October 2016 Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peeks!

Welcome to Day 1 of our October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Be sure to pop back in each day this week because we have SIX brand new clear stamp sets to share with you and they'll ALL be released on Saturday!

We are kicking things off with a beautiful new nativity set by artist Becky Pearce called CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS! This sweet 4x6 clear stamp set features Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, a shepherd, animals, accessory stamps, sentiments and more.  In total, there are SIXTEEN stamps for an endless combination of design possibilities!

I combined several of the stamps in a little group by masking and then coloured with Copics. To finish it off, I added a bit of twine, a die cut snowflake and a wooden button.

Wonderful Wednesday...Santa Paws!

Hello krafty friends...it's time for another Wonderful Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Wonderful Wednesdays challenges are always "Anything Goes"...any stamp, any theme, any style, any design, any project! It does have to be a new creation and you can submit it at today's Wonderful Wednesday post on the KKS  blog until October 4th at midnight EST. At the end of the month, one random winner will be chosen from all submissions for the entire month...that lucky stamper will win a $20 gift card to the KKS Shop. 

 I've used the Santa Paws set for my card.  This young girl with her sweet furry friend is one of two main images in the set.  It also includes a variety of coordinating sentiments.  She was stamped in Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured with Copics.  Almost all of the supplies used to make this card came from the September Surprise Kit...I know some of you ordered this kit and took part in our September release sneak peeks.  Although this kit is no longer available (Kimmie only releases them for preorder for a limited time!!), I thought it would be fun to give you a taste of what you receive in the kits...if you missed this one, be sure to keep your eyes open for the next time Kimmie releases a surprise kit. The paper (the full 6x6 pad), individual snowflakes (a full die set!), the flower and pearls were all included in the kit. I used a spellbinder die to cut out the circles and a Memory Box die to cut out the snowflake flourish. I also added some Stardust Stickles to the flower and white snowflakes.  I hope you plan to play along this week!

spWHOOky Halloween Wishes...a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

A month ago, Kimmie tipped us off that Dollarama stores in Ontario were carrying a variety of K & Company Halloween embellishments...I rushed right out to snag some! These krafty deals were a perfect fit with our Halloween release last month...love when that happens! When I saw this quirky owl in the K&Company die cuts, I though it would pair perfectly with our new clear stamp set Happy Owl-oween...I used the "spWHOOky Halloween" sentiment. The little bat is from Harvest Blessings, another set released last month. I LOVE that Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps can be combined with so many other products...these die cuts allowed me to create a super quick and fun little card.

My hop card features Dear Santa by Cheryl Grant. I absolutely LOVE this fun Santa image!! I stamped him in Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured with Copic markers. Additional shading was added using a black Conte crayon applied with a paper blending stump. I used my Cutterbee scissors to fussy cut the image. I always use coordinating markers to go around the edges of my cut images to hide the white paper core. All paper edges were inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Finally I added a bit of twine and a little dollar store tree.

Holiday Momma

Today's sneak peeks feature two of four new stamps by Annie Rodrigue called Holiday Daddy-O and Holiday Momma!  Each stamp comes with several coordinating sentiments. These stamps work beautifully to create a scene, but they can also be used individually. 

I used Holiday Momma on my card today. I stamped her in Dessert Sand Memento Ink and coloured her with Copics. I kept the layout clean and simple by just adding a bit of twine and some jingle bells.

Shake it Up...Day 2 of the September 2016 Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peeks!

Today's sneak peeks feature a gorgeous new snow globe set from Krafty Artist Becky Pearce called SHAKE IT UP!  It includes a snow globe stamp plus an assortment of animals, accessory stamps and sentiments...there are a total of 18 elements in this set! And it's not just limited to creating snow globes...you'll be amazed by all the creative ways to use this set! 

This set was an add-on option for those who preordered the Surprise Kit a couple of months back.  One of the fun bonuses of ordering these kits is the invitation to play along with the sneak peeks for the stamp sets included in the kit...you will likely see some special guest designers on today's hop for extra inspiration! 

I made a little Christmas note card using the snow globe, penguins, gifts and a sentiment plate for the base of the globe. The images were all coloured with Copics.  I added glamour dust for the snow and then coated the globe with Glossy Accents. All paper edges were sponged with distress ink.
