Here's my card featuring one of the sweet mermaids from the Shell Me a Story set. I used some old Imaginesce paper I found at the bottom of one of my paper bins. I pulled out an assortment of flowers (mostly Prima) and some pearls to finish it off.
The image was stamped on Neenah and coloured with Copics. Stardust Stickles were added to her tail.

Gabby...A Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek!
Welcome back to Day THREE of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps MAY previews!!! Wanna know the random commenter who is the lucky winner from yesterday?? Well, ALL the winners of this week will be announced at the LIVE online RELEASE PARTY TOMORROW night!!! Go HERE to get all the details!!!
Today we have THREE of the new stamps from our BEACHY GIRLS collection!!! We'll share the other three tomorrow! These gorgeous images will really get you in the mood for sun and sand!!! Today, we'll introduce you to GABBY, JACQUIE COUSTEAU and LEILANI!!
Here's my card featuring Gabby. I absolutely LOVE this stamp! Volleyball is my favourite sport and I play in a league through the school year. I love watching beach volleyball, but I don't play it for a number of reasons. First of all, I don't fair well in the hot humid weather...it doesn't agree with my asthma. Secondly, one of the downsides of being a redhead with super fair skin is that I pretty much burn instantly. Thirdly, there's the whole beach volleyball uniform...NOBODY needs nor wants to see that much of me. ;P So ultimately, I pretty much avoid the sun at all costs, lol. It's taken me many years, but I've come to terms with my pastiness. ;) Anyways, back to Gabby...I like to pretend this is what I look like when I go up for a spike! In actuality, I know I don't even come close to looking this good, but a girl can dream right? I love the action in this image, and I adore her hair!!
Here's a close up:
(Sorry, I forgot to record my colours...I'll get back to having a list for you with my Sunday blog hop card.)
Below you will find all the Krafty Girls who have goodies to show you today and while you're visiting their blogs, be sure to leave some love at each stop because ONE lucky stamper is going to WIN a package of today's stamps!! Woohoo!!!
ALL of our MAY stamps will be available TOMORROW night at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!! We'll be celebrating tomorrow evening at our ONLINE RELEASE PARTY!! It's over at our KKS Facebook fan page! Join us for all the fun!! You can find more details here!!

Halloween Sprite
Well, welcome back for another fun challenge with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!
This week our hostess is SHERI!! And her challenge is Let's Get SENTIMENTAL!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features a sentiment of some sort!! It can be the focal point of your card or it can be an addition to one of our images! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubbah!!!
I'm sharing a card I made a few weeks back at a fun event. Kimmie and I trekked up to Kitchener to spend the weekend at Scrapfest. We had a blast...our table was full of a group of fantastic ladies (hey Alexis!!) who we thoroughly enjoyed spending our time with. We laughed, crafted, ate and shopped to our heart's content. It was so much fun! One of the items I scored was the Chillingsworth paper pad from Echo Park. I REALLY wanted this pad, but didn't have an opportunity to scoop it up last Halloween. Well, seeing as Halloween is one of my favourite themes to work with and there was a card contest at the crop, I needed to crack this pad open immediately. The only problem was that I didn't have any Halloween stamps with me. So, I decided to use one of our Sprites, Naida, and give her a bit of spooky flair. I used a flourish stamp to create a border around the Orange paper, distresses everything and sponged it all with black ink. The orange flower was one Kimmie had brought along (thanks!!). I used a music background stamp on it, and again inked it with black. It was centred with an antique looking brad. The flourishes were made with a Memory Box die. The funky corner embellishment was created with one of the Dies by SCACD, Alice's Clock Statement Corner.
Wondering where my sentiment is for this week's challenge? I added it to the inside of my easel card. It had been a while since I had made one of these cards...they really are a lot of fun to make, and they display your image perfectly! I borrowed an MFT die from Kimmie to cut out this fun sentiment that comes with Naida.
Here's a close up of Naida:
(sorry I don't have a colour list for you today...it's been several weeks since I coloured her up!)
Don't forget to check out this week's FRUGAL FRIDAY SPECIALS with several of our fave stamps and stamp sets on 30-50% OFF, but just for the weekend!!
Make sure to visit the KKS blog to check out the wonderful creations by our Krafty Girls featuring this week's challenge!! If you join us and play along, you could WIN a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!!!

Rayne
Good morning Krafty friends! Hope you've all had a great week.
Our weekly Kraftin' Kimmie challenge is brought to us by our lovely hostess, Karen who want us to play Tic Tac Toe. She's created a fun game board with different embellishments/elements. Your task this week is to choose any three of those elements for your projects that form a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally. (You can find the Tic Tac Toe board on the KKS Blog)
For my card, I chose to use Blue, Gems and Dies which formed a diagonal line on the challenge game board. This gorgeous sprite is Rayne. I absolutely LOVE how her hair transforms into water...which of course meant that her hair just had to be blue! I think this may have been my first time attempting locks of this colour! I used several different dies on my card. The corners are Contempo Compass Statement Corner from Dies by SCACD. The image was cut out and matted with Spellbinders. The flourishes are a combination of Memory Box and MFT dies. I also added a few rhinestones for the gems.
Rayne was stamped on Neenah and coloured with Copics. I added a bit of Stardust Stickles to her wings.
Make sure to pop by the KKS Blog to check out what the rest of the Krafty Girls have created for the Tic Tac Toe challenge. If you play along this week, you could be the lucky winner of the stamp seen on Karen's gorgeous project. Just make sure to use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp to be eligible.
A few things to note:
Frugal Friday Specials are up! Make sure to check out which stamps are on sale this week and scoop them up at amazing discounts! You'll have until Sunday night to take advantage of the sales. Oh, and word has it that Kimmie may have brought some retired stamps back for a limited time only!
April Gimmie Kimmie Kits: If you loved the newly released April Stamps and feel like you just had to have them all, then these kits are for you! They are complete collection grouped by artists that are available at a great discount for a limited time only! So make sure to shop soon before they are gone.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Fairy Dust...Release Day at SCACD!!
Hi crafty friends! Welcome to the release day blog hop with SCACD. Just wait until you see the gorgeous new stamps Susana has in store for you this month. Here's a message from Susana about the new stamps:
Today SCACD is introducing the Fairy Dust Collection!!! These are 6 sweet and sassy Fairies that just make you smile and brighten the day :D Elisabeth Bell sprinkled just the right amount of cute, charm and gorgeous on to these special little fairies. These are stamps for right now but also classics to use years from now :D
If you've been following along with the hop, you should have arrived here after visiting with our lovely guest, Kim Dellow.
I adore fairy stamps. I absolutely love colouring them! So I've been really excited to get busy creating with the Fairy Dust Collection. For my first card today, I'd like to introduce you to Time Flys. Ok, I'm in LOVE with this funky steampunk fairy. Seriously, isn't she fabulous?? I paired her up with some awesome papers from Carta Bella "Well Travelled". Love this paper pad. :) I also used one of my favourites Dies by SCACD, Alice's Clock Statement Corner.
Time Flys was stamped on Neenah and coloured with Copics.
Up next, is a pretty little fairy called Believe in the Unseen. The papers on the card are from Teresa Collins "Memories". I also used two of the newest Dies by SCACD, Contempo Compass Statement Corner and Steampunk Wings. I cut out four Steampunk wings to create the doily effect behind the image panel. These wings are AMAZING, and you get both wings in the die set. They are perfect for so many different applications...I have a million ideas running through my head. :)
Believe in the Unseen was stamped on Neenah and coloured with Copics. Startdust Stickles were used on her wings. I used several Distress Inks to sponge around the fairy. I also used the wonky clock stamp from the Follow Your True Heart set to create a bit of a border around the image. I decided to create a sky behind the frame in the image to make it appear as those she is peeking outside, but you could also colour this as a key hole or even an enchanted mirror...so many great possibilities!!
The new Fairy Dust Collection and all the Dies by SCACD are now available for purchase at SCACD .
Our international friends can find the stamps and dies at Quixotic Paperie .
It's my pleasure to send you off to visit with another lovely guest designer, Wendy Ramlakhan.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the hop!
Blessings,
Melanie
