May 2016 Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Welcome Krafty Friends to Day ONE of our Kraftin' Kimme Stamps MAY Krafty Previews!!!

Welcome to the amazing Krafty Peeks for our fabulous new May release of clear stamps!! The theme is UNDERWATER and we are kickin' things off with THREE FIN-tastic new designs to inspire you this month from artist, Annie Rodrigue!

First off, we have a TWO new stamp set featuring BRAND NEW MERMAIDS!!!!!!! I know some of you have been waiting for these!! They SHORE are beautiful and they are called SERENA SPARKLES and TREENA TWINKLES! And each one features several super cute and funny coordinating sentiments!

Next up Annie has designed the perfect BACKGROUND stamp set to go with these new mermaids and many other summer stamp sets OR to just use it by itself!! How gorgeous is this underwater scene called THE OCEAN!!?

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March 2016 Release!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has released seven new clear stamp sets that were previewed all week and we're celebrating today with an amazing HOP!

We have two beautiful sets from artist, Annie Rodrigue called ROSIE FAIRY! and TEACUP FAIRY, a cute new set by artist Emilie Goulet called FAIRY LOVED, two new home sets by artist Cheryl Grant called HAPPY NEW HOME! and WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, and lastly we have two fun new sets from artist, Becky Pearce called YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE! and BUTTERFLY DREAMS!

And if you HAVE to have it ALL, we also have our March Gimme Kimmies Kit which includes all SEVEN of the new sets together and at a discount! But only for a limited time!

Here's my card featuring Annie's beautiful stamp, Rosie Fairy. The sentiment comes with the stamp. I used Kaiserkraft Botanica papers and added some stickles to her wings. Every fairy needs a little sparkle, right??!!

January 2016 Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Welcome to the very first release of 2016 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! wink emoticon

I hope you saw all the sets previewed this past week...the design team did an amazing job featuring these gorgeous new clear stamps! We've prepared a blog hop to celebrate the release, so get comfy and enjoy the show! (The list will be at the end of my post.)

This month includes: 

• Two beautiful sets from artist, Annie Rodrigue called MINNIE, MAISIE & ME! and PURR-FECT PRINCESS!
• A sweet new set by artist Cheryl Grant called TALK TO THE ANIMALS!
• A very special set by artist Emilie Goulet called A FURRY SURPRISE! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps will be donating a portion of the sale of each of this set to a local non-profit animal rescue organization! We want to help take care of our furry friends who are in need of rescue!
• Two fun new sets from artist, Becky Pearce called A PURR-FECT DAY! and TOTALLY PAW-SOME!

You will get to see all of the new sets in action on the hop. When you're done, make sure to head on over to the Krafty Shop because ALL of the new stamp sets are available for purchase! I've used the new set called A Purr-fect Day! This fun set features three sweet kitties with an assortment of coordinating sentiments and accessory stamps. On the front of my card I featured one cat stamp, a sentiment and a couple of little paw prints. The image was stamped in Memento Desert Sand Ink on hot-pressed watercolour paper and coloured with Polychromos...this was my first attempt with this medium. I have a lot to learn, but it was fun to experiment! I blended the pencils with odorless mineral spirits. That awesome twine is available in the shop!!

Inside my card, I fussy cut the cat from my design paper and added another sentiment from the set. 

I also added a few accessory stamps to the back of my card...I love this sweet little mouse! I also created a trail of paw prints.

Kicking Off 2016 with a GLITTER Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 

We're kicking off another year of GREAT challenges at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...our first theme is GLITTER!! We always enjoy your creations, so be sure to submit them for a chance to win a $20 gift card to the Shop!! Similar to the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing ONE WINNER PER MONTH  from all Saturday Challenge entries..feel free to enter as many times per month as you'd like! Let your creativity soar and create anything you like with the glitter theme featuring a KKS stamp: cards, scrapbook layouts, journal pages, altered items, planner entries...we can't wait to see what you make! You can submit your entries over at the KKS blog...you'll have until January 8th at 11:55 EST for this week's submission. 

In addition to the great Krafty Challenges & Wonderful Wednesday, each month we will post a Sketch. The sketch will last all month long and if you use it in ANY of our Challenges or WW's during that month you will get an additional chance to win a store gift card! You do not have to use the sketch, but it's available in case you need a little kick start to your krafty mojo. ;)

My card features the recently released "You're Nifty" clear stamp set! The image was stamped in Memento Desert Sand and coloured with Copics. I added Glamour Dust glitter to the whipped cream on the soda as well as to the "love" wooden sentiment. To finish it off, I added some Maya Road Jute Cording coloured with a black Copic and a little key charm. 

The inside of my card features another recently released stamp from the Love Story Sentiments clear set.

2015 Favourites from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...and a HUGE Year End Sale!

Hi everybody!! I hope you all had an amazing holiday season full of laughter and love.



Today the Krafty Girls are looking back at all the amazing releases over the past year at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and featuring our favourite cards. With all the gorgeous stamps Kimmie released, this was a tough call! This year also saw a new direction for KKS...clear stamps!! This has been such an exciting venture for Kimmie. We have all LOVED the new clear stamps, and I'm sure have too.

With the introduction of the new stamps, we are saying goodbye to the former rubber releases. This is important to note because once a stamp/set is gone, it will not be restocked!! Now is definitely the time to scoop up your favourites before they are gone. Good news...Kimmie is running a HUGE year end sale!! Make sure to pop by the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop to take advantage of these AMAZING prices! While you're grabbing some stamps, be sure to add some krafty goodies to your cart...there are so many fantastic paper pads and embellishments!!

On to my favourites...I chose two. :)

Up first is is a fun friendship set designed by Krafty Artist Emilie Goulet. "Squishy Hugs" was released in February 2015. It includes three main images (this fun tire swing image, two friends hugging on a bench and a girl hugging her kitty) and several coordinating sentiments. I adore Emilie's fun style...this set became one of my favourites the second I laid eyes on it. It's perfect for all those cards/projects for your BFF. :)

One thing you need to know about me...I LOVE Halloween images!! Every year, I eagerly Kimmie's reveal of the Halloween images! This year, my favourite Halloween image came from the set "My Best Friends Are Witches" from Krafty Artist Annie Rodrigue!! This set included two fun witches plus several coordinating sentiments.

So there you have it. It was really hard to narrow down my favourites, but these two sets were definitely at the top of my list. As mentioned earlier, if you want these two sets as part of your stamp collection, act fast! They were released as rubber, so there are only a limited number left in stock! Take advantage of the year end sale..."Squishy Hugs" is currently on sale for 25% off the original price, and "My Best Friends are Witches" is 30% off!

October 2015 Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Welcome to OCTOBER RELEASE DAY at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! We're releasing all the new CLEAR stamp sets we've been previewing all week and we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!! 

Over the last few days the Krafty Girls and Guests have shared previews featuring all the new stamp sets from each of our artists for the CLEAR October Release! Included this month are:

• A set by Becky Pearce called CHRISTMAS CHEER as well as a sweet little holiday set called HAPPY WINTER DAYS! 
• A sweet set of snowmen and friends by artist, Cheryl Grant called SNOW BUDDIES! 
• A set of fun characters shreddin' the white stuff from artist, Annie Rodrigue called SNOW DAYS! 
• An adorable new set of critters from artist Emilie Goulet called ICE, ICE, BABY! Plus as a special bonus.
• Additionally, Kimmie is now releasing the fabulous stamp set that was previously only available as part of the Holiday Kard Kit called NO PEEKING!

The new images can be seen in action on today's blog hop..when you’re done, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie shop, because the new stamps are now available to purchase!! Kimmie also got lots of new goodies in the shop including new paper pads, enamel dots, etc from companies like Bo Bunny, MME, Kaisercraft, American Crafts and more! I've also had restocks of EZmount, inks, poster paint pens, liquid applique, Wink of Stella brushes, Glamour Dust etc.! Make sure to spend some time browsing all these incredible products! 

My card today features one of the fun Christmas Cheer sentiments in a very non-traditional colour palette. The papers are from an old Bo Bunny pad. The sentiment wast stamped with an ombre ink pad. Kimmie carries that gorgeous Maya Road jute cording in the shop...love the texture it provides! Those wooden snowflakes were coated lightly in Mod Podge and sprinkled with Glamour Dust...love that glitter!! I added some rhinestones and few jingle bells to finish it off. 

I posted this card last month for the Christmas Card Kit, but thought I'd share it again because the No Peeking stamp set is now available for purchase!! All supplies for this card came from the kit.

Christmas Cheer...a Kraftin' Kimmie Preview!

We're back with Day TWO of our October Krafty Peeks for the NEW Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...introducing an incredible new set by artist, Becky Pearce called CHRISTMAS CHEER! It features EIGHT amazing sentiments that can be used as the focal point of your creations or they can be an addition to another image and also for the insides of your holiday cards!

You'll see the new stamps in action and featured in today's blog hop with the Krafty Girl Design Team!! At the end of my post, you will find links to the blogs of all the Krafty Girls who have goodies to show you today. Here's my card featuring one of the Christmas Cheer sentiments! I used some old scraps of paper to make a mini 4"x4" card. I also added some twine and a few jingle bells. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Ink. To clean and condition my clear stamps (an essential step to keep your KKS clear stamps in perfect condition), I used the Ranger spray along with a cleaner pad....makes cleaning your stamps a breeze!
