Halloween challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Hello and welcome to fun
Saturday Challenge at Kraftin'

 Kimmie Stamps!

Our challenge this week is....
HALLOWEEN!

I used several KKS products with two stamp sets for my card this week. I started by using our SO MANY CIRCLES stencil to create a moon by lightly sponging some GRANITE GREY ink. I then added a bit more shading to the moon with some copics. I then sponged the sky with Granite Grey' ink and stamped the tree and cat from SPOOKY SILHOUETTES and the sentiment from PUMPKIN KISSES in WICKED BLACK ink. I added some additional depth to the sky with Wicked Black and PURPLE PANSY. The grass was done in MOSSY MEADOW ink. The sky was finished off with some bats sponged in Wicked Black ink with our BATS AND MOONS stencil and I added a touch of white coloured pencil to the moon.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like!  These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and products will earn you double entries!  Each submission will enter you into the monthly draw of a $40 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

Don't forget to check out this weekend's SPECIALS!  We've got FOUR of our fabby stamp sets on SALE 40% OFF  in our FRUGAL FRIDAY SPECIALS so hop on over to the shop to check them out!

We've also got a sketch to inspire you for the month of September! You don't have to use it but it's there for you to use if you need a little kickstart....feel free to use it any time!

Monster Mash...A Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek

Welcome back to Day THREE of our
AUGUST 2019 release at
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's set is another amazing set
from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen!
It's called
MONSTER MASH!

Check out this build-a-monster stamp set...you can mix and match different heads, different bodies, different legs!  Imagine all the endless designs of crazy combinations you can make!

As I wanted to pair this set with our fun new CREEPY COBWEB stencil, I decided to use one of the monster heads with the legs stamps to create a funky little spider. I started by creating a background with the stencil using our Yummy Yellow, Mossy Meadow and brand new GOBLIN GREEN inks. I also added a spritz of a green Dylusions shimmer spray. After removing the stencil, I traced around the cobweb with a copic multiliner. I then stamped the monster head and legs in Wicked Black ink on Hammermill paper, coloured the creature with copics, fussy cut the image and adhered him with tombow mono glue. A trio of our new SPOOKY DOTS finishes it off.

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the MONSTER MASH stamp set in action in combination with our awesome new August Kraftin' Kimmie products.....ink, stencils and krafty dots!

You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends facebook group on Saturday, August 17th at 2pm EST!

Spooky Suckers...August Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!

***Welcome to the August Krafty Peeks....Day TWO!! ***

We've got a couple of Halloween cuties for you in today's peeks by artist Emilie Goulet...introducing SPOOKY SUCKERS!

Image may contain: text

This adorable set features two tiny vampires plus three fun sentiments. You'll 'vant' this set to use on all your creepy creations! They are super fun on their own but imagine them in combination with the Haunted House set that we shared yesterday.

You will see these images in action as you hop around the Krafty blogs. The list of Krafty design team members is at the end of my post. Be sure to leave some love at each stop because one lucky commenter is going to WIN a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop!!

Plus we're doing a GIVEAWAY of the ENTIRE August release on the Krafty Friends facebook page!

Be sure to join us at the LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday afternoon at 1pm EST.  We'll be checking out all FIVE of the new clear stamp sets, plus two rubber rereleases, sharing fabulous creations, giving away prizes and having tons of krafty fun!

I have been on a bit of a watercolour kick lately...heck, it's a full blown obsession, lol. I stamped the female vampire from Spooky Suckers on watercolour paper and painted the entire scene with watercolours (combination of Daniel Smith and M. Graham). I also used a bit of gouache on the moon and clouds as I needed some more opaque coverage to go over the dark sky.

Here's the full set:

A month ago, Kimmie tipped us off that Dollarama stores in Ontario were carrying a variety of K & Company Halloween embellishments...I rushed right out to snag some! These krafty deals were a perfect fit with our Halloween release last month...love when that happens! When I saw this quirky owl in the K&Company die cuts, I though it would pair perfectly with our new clear stamp set Happy Owl-oween...I used the "spWHOOky Halloween" sentiment. The little bat is from Harvest Blessings, another set released last month. I LOVE that Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps can be combined with so many other products...these die cuts allowed me to create a super quick and fun little card.

Here's a shot of the inside of my card...I used an image and sentiment from Happy Owl-oween to finish it off.

Have you joined the Kraftin Kimmie's Krafty Friends fb group?? It's the best place to keep up with all of the goings on as well as sharing YOUR creations and getting inspired by other Krafty Friends' creations!!

Magic! (A Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge)

Good morning and welcome to our weekly challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Our lovely hostess this week is Delphine and she has conjured up a them of MAGIC!

Delphine's theme was perfect for so many stamps released over the last two months. I used a combination of sets on my card. To create my focal image, I stamped Lexie from Make Your Own Magic, masked her, then stamped the pumpkin and kitty from Harvest Blessings. The sentiment is from the Witch Willa set. The images were stamped in Memento Desert Sand Ink and coloured with Copics. I added some sparkle to Lexie's "spell" with Stickles, Zigg Wink of Stella and white acrylic paint.

For more magical inspiration, hop on over to the KKS blog to see what the other crafty girls and crafty guests have created. Then it's your turn to get inky! Make sure to submit your entry for your chance to win the monthly draw for a gift card to the KKS shop.

If you need a little kick start to your mojo, check out our August sketch...you can use it in any challenge or Wonderful Wednesday submission. You don't have to use the sketch, but if you do, you will get an additional chance to win the monthly gift card!

Take some time to browse the shop...all the newly released August stamps are in stock. The August Gimmie Kimmie's Kit is also still available...this kit includes the entire release for a discounted price but only for a limited time! Kimmie has also selected several stamps for this week's Frugal Friday sale...check them out HERE.
