June 2021 Release Peaks and Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...Day 3

 

   Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the June Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set 

from artist Sabrina van Vloten

 and it's called.....

SHIVER ME TIMBERS!

The notorious crew of Shiver Me Timbers and their fantastic ship are perfect for send splendid birthday wishes, thank you's and more!

I created a bookmark featuring this little swashbuckler sitting on her treasure chest. I stamped the image in Wicked Black ink on craft cardstock and coloured her with a combo of copics and coloured pencil. I used our new Rugged Rope stencil with Sandy Shores and Marvelous Mocha inks. I also used some products from our June Add-On Bundle including the chipboard coins and anchor, and the embossing powder for the sentiment. I added some stickles to the gems in the image, chipboard elements and to the edges of the bookmark.

April 2021 Sneak Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Day 3...Forest Friends

 

   Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the April Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set 

from artist Sabrina van Vloten

 and it's called.....

FOREST FRIENDS!!

These friends from the forest are so sweet, and definitely perfect for spring!! They have so many sweet and versatile accessories - and will coordinate beautifully with the awesome Love Bugs images, especially the gorgeous flower!!

I created a watercoloured bookmark featuring one of the sweet animals from FOREST FRIENDS. I also used several items from the APRIL ADD ON KIT including some glitter cardstock, the purple ribbon and the little hedgehog button.

March 2021 Skrappy Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

    Good morning krafty friends!

It's March and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is 

ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

Make sure your project is a NEW creation that includes some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products.  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

I made a bookmark for this month's challenge. I started by stamping this avid young reader from My Happy Place, masked her, then stamped the tower of books from Save My Place. Both images were stamped in our Wicked Black ink and coloured with Copic markers. I then made a background using a combination of several Krafty inks (Granite Grey, Ruby Red, Marvellous Mocha, Wicked Black) and our Brick Wall stencil. I added some additional texture to the bricks with coloured pencil. I then added a tassel and a little canvas tag stamped with a sentiment from Save My Place in Wicked Black ink.

You have until Monday, April 5th to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

November 2020 Release Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps-Day One!

  Welcome to the November 2020 Release Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is by Melissa Baker-Nguyen and it's called.....

Things With Wings...a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This week our challenge theme is:
THINGS WITH WINGS!

I created a bookmark featuring one of the fairies and a toadstool from our FAIRY FOLK stamp set. I stamped the images in Wicked Black ink and coloured the scene with Copics. I added a bit of sparkle to her wings with Stardust Stickles. To finish it off, I made a tassel and added a butterfly charm.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a 25$ voucher to the Krafty shop!

The image was stamped in our Wicked black ink and painted with Daniel Smith watercolours on cold pressed paper. I edged the bookmark in Stardust Stickles...I also added some to the magic potion.

Anything Water...a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to another 

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This week's challenge for you is: ANYTHING WATER

I created a bookmark with the new BE A MERMAID stamp set. She was stamped in Totally Taupe ink on Neenah 110# paper and coloured with Copics. I fussy cut her and placed her on some mermaid/underwater themed design paper. The edges were inked in Whimsical Wisteria ink. The sentiment from the Unicorns and Rainbows set was heat embossed in black. And what mermaid project is complete without some glitter?? I edged the bookmark in Thistle Stickles and coated her tail in Stardust Stickles. In place of a tassel, I added some fun ribbon, bakers twine and a wooden dollar store anchor painted with acrylics and coated in more Stardust Stickles.

I made a bookmark featuring the Fairy Folk stamp set...I coloured these little fairies up during my recent colour along on the Krafty Friends Facebook group. The fairies and mushroom were stamped in our Wicked Black ink and coloured with Copic markers. I adhered them to some pretty design paper, added a sentiment from the set and edged the papers in waterfall stickles.

It's my turn to share an inspirational project featuring our Berry Sweet stamp set. I stamped the lemon slices and berries from the set in Totally Taupe ink on Arches cold pressed watercolour paper. The bowl and whole lemon were hand drawn. The entire scene was painted in watercolours. The sentiment is part of the set and was stamped in Wicked Black ink.

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps,

I created a bookmark with one of the adorable kids from the SMARTY PANTS stamp set. He was stamped in our Totally Taupe ink and coloured with Copics. I then masked the image and created a background using our Wonky Chevron stencil with Charming Chartreuse and Sparkling Sapphire inks. The "Talk Nerdy To Me" sentiment was stamped in Wicked Black.
