Humble Pie Blog Hop!

This candy is now closed. Thanks to all who played!

Welcome to our first Humble Pie Stamps blog hop!! We are so excited to introduce the new "SWEETIE PIE" line, and along the way you can meet the Humble Pie Design Team! These ladies are super talented, so make sure to take time to look around their blogs! If you have arrived at my blog by any other way than Krista's blog, you need to begin over at Kim's where all the fun begins! Watch for blog candy along the way! These cute stamps will only be available at The Town Scrapper ! Give Phebe a call!

My blog is the fifth blog (of 7) before you get to register for a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE!
Here are all the designers participating in today's blog hop. It isn't absolutely necessary to do the hop in this order, but it is important that you visit every blog, and leave a comment on every blog, in order to be eligible to win the grand prize!

Kim

Angie

Amy

Krista

Me!

Tricia

Phebe

I am offering up a Chrysanthemum Fairy as blog candy today...available from Phebe at the Town Scrapper! I will be working on a card this week with this stamp. I know that Kim has a beautiful card on her blog hop post made with this stamp, and Phebe has posted cards made by the design team. Would you like one??? To be eligible, leave me a comment on this post by Monday August 17, 2009 at 11:59 pm. I will draw a random number, and announce the winner here on August 18, 2009. Make sure to leave me your email address so that I can contact you!

Note: Silly me...I gave the wrong date for the close of the blog candy give away. It will stay open until Tuesday August 25, 2009 at 11:59 pm. Chalk that up to staying up late to post, and being too tired to get the details right!! lol

Now, onto the new stamps! Here is Maggie from illustrator Heather Hambleton.

Isn't she cute? All the paper used here is from my stash...not sure of the company! Maggie is coloured with Copics of course. I am trying a new paper for my Copics...Neenah. I have read great reviews of this product, and so far am liking it. The sky and grass is done with ink pads and foam blenders. I matted her on my brand new scalloped rectangle Spellbinders. The buttons are from Making Memories (available out at Phebe's store). I added a few rhinestones, paper flowers a sentiment and voila! I love the little flower Maggie is holding...who do you think it's for?? Here is a closeup of Maggie.

So, play along today! Don't forget to leave a comment on the designer's blogs for a chance to win the grand prize! Now off you go to Tricia's blog!

Thanks for stopping by today, and hope you visit again soon!

Melanie!! Your colouring has me completely in awe!! I really need to purchase some copics- but I doubt there is anyone around here to teach me how to use them!- I am loving the blog hop and absolutely love "Maggie"- your card is gorgeous!!! Thank you for the inspiration and the chance to win prizes during the blog hop!

Just wanted to pop on to say a heartfelt thanks for all the lovely comments! I very much appreciate you all taking the time to look at my blog and the time to comment!

Laurie-Ann...Copics are awesome and well worth the investment. I just purchased mine a couple of months ago. Are you local(Sarnia/Lambton area)? There are some terrific classes/instructors in the area. If you email me (via my profile) I can let you know about these! There are some great online tutorials as well. Mostly, just keep practicing! If you invest time in your craft, it is sure to pay off!
