New Release at SCACD!

SCACD NEW RUBBER STAMPS AND DIGITAL RELEASES!

Today Susana Loves Stamps is releasing another new round of the unique, fresh and edgy MechAnimals rubber stamps and some fabulous new Far East and floral inspired rubber stamps.

 

SCACD Digital is also releasing today a fun little gaggle of digital ghoulies that scream fun and sweetness J  You can check them out HERE!

I created a card with one of the awesome new MechAnimals, Jellyfish Dreams. The image was coloured with Copics. I used Distress Inks to give this card a grungy kind of feel...love my brown inks. :)  I used Anitque Linen, Vintage Photo and Walnut stain. I pulled out two Dies by SCACD, Classic Corners and Contempo Compass Statement Corner for embellishment. I absolutely LOVE this sentiment that comes with Jellyfish Dreams. Isn't the font awesome?!

Winter Guardian

Hi friends!

I spent some time the other night colouring up one of the GORGEOUS digital stamps from SCACD...you did hear about the Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital images right?! Susana has introduced some amazing new images  and also re-released some former images that were previously only available in rubber! Digital images are so versatile. You can resize and flip the images to suit your needs, not to mention the benefits of shopping from home in your jammies and being able to download to start colouring right away!

This is Winter Guardian...she just happens to be one of my favourites. :)  I LOVE this style of Carmen's. She's so elegant. With colder weather and the holidays soon approaching, she'd be perfect for your seasonal projects. I haven't had time to put her on a card yet, but I will be doing that soon. I added some Stardust Stickles to her wings and the snow in the globe. I think I'll likely add some glossy accents to the glass globe before placing her on my final project.

Here's my card featuring Santa and Pup by Rachelle Anne Miller...isn't he cute?! I also used one of the great vintage stamps from Sleigh Mail by Nicole Aspinall. The paper is from My Mind's eye. The image and Sleigh Mail sentiment were cut out and matted with various Spellbinders. 

Santa and Pup was coloured with Copics.

I shared the following card earlier in the week, but thought I'd post it again to remind you of the fabulous September Kardmaking Kit!! This is an example of just one project you can make from the kit. Kimmie had divided one kit up between six of the design team members to show you how many projects you can make with just one kit! It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's SEPTEMBER 2013 RELEASE...it's all about CHRISTMAS! We've got SO many exciting things going on....

We are kicking off the *New* SEPTEMBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and we're SO excited to share these new stamps with you from artist, Nicole Aspinall!!! Today we’d like to introduce you to these amazing new vintage postage style sets ….SLEIGH MAIL and BUILD YOUR OWN TRINKETS! These fabulous images are perfect for your Holiday cards, tags, altered items, boxes and treat bags!! Here's my card featuring some of the fantastic images from Sleigh Mail. My card measures 4"x4". I used some Bo Bunny, which I believe was from last year. I love the vintage feel to this paper. The snowflakes were cut using a Memory Box Die and were centered with a trinket type image from Sleigh Mail. It was stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink on white cardstock and then coloured with two Copics to match the paper, B93 and W3. I finished it off with some Tea Dye Distress Ink, stitching and rhinestones.

The inside of my card features three more images from Sleigh Mail. Again, they were stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

I used the Balancing Elf stamp...isn't he cute?! (if you like him, remember that you get to choose one $8.00 stamp as a part of the Kit) I used Classic Corner Dies by SCACD for the corner embellishments and Martha Stewart punches for the snowflakes and decorative lower border...that awesome white glitter cardstock is included in your kit! The edges were all sponged with Bundled Sage Distress Ink.

If Friends Were Flowers...

Welcome to another fun challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...Fall Fun! 

My card is a bit of a stretch for the challenge, but it does have orange on it, which is a fall colour, right?? The stamp is part of the BFF Trinkets set...love those trinkets! I embellished it up with an MFT die cut flourish, some pearls, flowers and some crocheted trim. Everything was sponged with a bit of Walnut Stain Distress Ink for antiquing.
