Coffee Makes Everything Better at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Welcome back to another month of Skrappy Fun
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!!

So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!!  yep!  One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

I made a K-cup holder that's perfect as a little gift for your caffeine-loving friends! The template for this project can be found HERE. I constructed the base out of kraft cardstock and then finished each panel with a dark brown cardstock mat and patterned paper. I used our Creamy Caramel ink and Beautiful Burlap stencil to create a bit of visual interest and sponged all edges with our Marvelous Mocha ink. The sentiment, coffee beans and coffee cup are all from our BREW-TIFUL DAY stamp set (they were stamped in Marvelous Mocha ink). The coffee beans and cup were coloured directly on the patterned paper with copic markers and I used a touch of white prisma coloured pencil for the highlights on the coffee cup lid. The java button was a fun embellishment I've had in my stash for years. To finish this gift, I dropped in two of my favourite salted caramel K-cups.

Stitching...a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge!

It's my turn to play hostess this week and I thought it would be fun to add STITCHING to our projects. I used to add stitching to nearly every project several years back as it adds a lovely finishing touch. However, it's something I rarely do anymore...time to fix that! I pulled out our adorable WILD WORLD set and stamped the rhino image in our Totally Taupe ink on watercolour paper. The image panel was done in watercolour paints. I added a bit of machine stitching, crocheted trim and pearls to finish it off.

Focus on a Sentiment at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

My sentiment card uses our fantastic set HAPPY THOUGHTS. I sponged the background with our inks: Charming Chartreuse, Lovely Lagoon, Mermaid Melody and Sparkling Sapphire. I stamped the sentiment in Wicked Black ink and then used our Starburst Stencil with Bo Bunny Sugar glitter paste to add a little pizzazz.

Life is a Joy with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

My hop card features Lulu from Life is a Joy. I stamped her on Neenah paper and coloured her with Copics. I fussy cut the image and adhered her to this pretty patterned paper...instant scene!

My Gnomies...a Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek

Welcome back to the Krafty FUN!
It's our third and final day of Krafty Peeks for the
July 2019 release at
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

It's called MY GNOMIES and is by our fabulous

This adorable set features several main images plus accessory stamps and awesome sentiments!  

Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item.....with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!  Use any sketch, design, colour scheme you want!

I created a little watercoloured scene using the large mushroom house, small mushroom and one of the female gnomes from the set. All images were stamped in Totally Taupe ink on Arches watercolour paper.

Here's my project featuring One More Page. I paper-pieced the pillow with some fun text patterned paper and added some shading. All colouring was done with Copic markers. The sentiment is part of the set.
