Plants and Trees...a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

 

 Time for another weekly challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

This week our theme is: 

PLANTS AND TREES

I used the adorable Awesome Possums set for my card today. I stamped the little possum perched on a tree branch and stamped him in Totally Taupe ink. I chose some botanical papers and then painted the possum surrounded by foliage in watercolour paints. I also used some coloured pencils to add some finishing touches to the possum. The sentiment is from Lulu and Friends.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries.

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Life is the Bubbles...May 2021 Release Hop at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

 

Today we are celebrating the new May Release that is NOW available in the

I created a card featuring LIFE IS THE BUBBLES. I stamped all the images in Wicked Black and coloured them with Copics. I layered some design paper panels on the inked card base which was created with our Rocky Road stencil and two inks, Purple Pansy and Whimsical Wisteria. I popped the turtle up on a mini wobble (Kimmie often sells these during Shop the Box). I also added some rhinestones and a wooden anchor from the dollar store (anchor was sponged in our ink). The fun little acrylic "bubbles" were from our previous March add on bundle.

Hello Sunshine...May Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peeks

 

   Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the May Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a sweet set

HELLO SUNSHINE!

This fabulous set is full of awesome accessories for your scene cards and amazing sentiments for cards, planners, scrapbook pages and more!

My card started with a stenciled base made with our Summer Sunbeams stencil and a combination of two Krafty Inks, Summer Sunshine and Morning Marigold.  I stamped the sun from the set in the same colours, fussy cut it and topped it with the chipboard sun from the May Add-On Kit (covered in design paper). I also added some of our chipboard clouds also covered in design paper. The sentiment from the set was stamped in Wicked Black ink. I added a bit of the blue ricrac trim from the May Add-On Kit and finished off the outside of the card with some rhinestone gems and stardust stickles.

I finished the inside of the card using some of the pretty design paper including in this month's Add-On Kit I also used this month's new Krafty Kaleidoscope stencil with Summer Sunshine ink.

Deep Sea Palace... May 2021 Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peeks

 

  Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the May Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' another fabulous set 

from artist Sabrina van Vloten

 and it's called.....

DEEP SEA PALACE!

This set features a fabulous palace focal image with an awesome friendship sentiment! It will also coordinate with those fabulous ocean sea creatures we saw yesterday in LIFE IS THE BUBBLES! How fun!! 

I created a fun glittery card featuring the image stamped in Wicked Black. I used our She Sells Seashells stencil to create a background with a variety of inks including the new Designer Denim, Pretty in Pink, Purple Pansy, Mermaid Melody and Bubbly Blue. I used Viva Decor Glitter paste before removing the stencil. The castle was coloured with Copics and the background for the image was created with Bubbly Blue and Designer Denim ink in combination with our Wonderful Waves stencil. The sentiment is from some design paper. I also added some stickles to the fish and glossy accents to the pearl.

Tiny Tea Party...May 2021 Release Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

   Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our May Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is by

Allison Cope

 and it's called.....
TINY TEA PARTY!

I stamped the teacup from the set in Totally Taupe ink directly on this design paper from Prima and then added shading with some copic markers.  I stamped the spoon on neenah cardstock, coloured it with copics and then added some stickles to the sugar cubes. I distressed all edges of my design paper with our Marvelous Mocha ink and then added a few finshing touches with pearls, crochet trim and some bronze paint around the edges. I used a small section of the KRAFTY KALEIDOSCOPE stencil to plot out the pearls on the cup.
