This week our challenge theme is: 

CRITTERS!

I am sharing the birthday card I made for Kimmie this year featuring From the Otter Side. This was also the stamp I used on a recent colour along on the KKS Facebook Page. I stamped the otter in Totally Taupie ink and painted the scene in watercolours. The sentiment is also from the set.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

February 2021 Release Day Blog Hop at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are celebrating the February Release NOW available in the

I watercoloured a leafy scene featuring one of the adoration AWESOME POSSUMS. I fussy cut the possum's head and front paws then popped it on top of one of the chipboard branches from the ADD ON BUNDLE (painted with acrylics).

Funny Fishes...Our Final Sneak Peek of the February Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the                                     February Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are absolutely thrilled to be introducing

this set by Allison Cope...

FUNNY FISHES!!

I stamped the bowl in Granite Grey ink followed by two of the fish, the pebbles and the seagrass in Totally Taupe ink on cold pressed Arches paper. I then watercoloured the scene and used some Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof White for the highlights on the glass bowl. I stamped the sentiment on a tag, added some more pebbles from the set and used one of the adorable fish buttons from the February Add-On Kit as a finishing touch.

Happiness is Homemade...February Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peeks Day 2

   Welcome back to Day TWO of our February

                            Krafty Peeks!

Introducing our new set from artist 

Neda Sadreddin and it's called.....

HAPPINESS IS HOMEMADE!!

I stamped one of the bakers and the oven in Totally Taupe ink and coloured them with Copics. I had the perfect paper collection to use with this set which is also called Happiness is Homemade. I used a bit of the paper to paper-piece the baker's outfit and the rolling pin. Speaking of that rolling pin...both it and the cupcake (the icing is Stardust stickles) are part of the awesome chipboard set included in this month's Add-On Kit. This kit will also be available for purchase this weekend! The sentiment was stamped with Wicked Black Ink. I also added some Krafty Dots from an assortment of sets. That paper panel with the cupcakes is actually a piece of cardstock covered in the fun Washi Tape which is also part of the February Add-On Kit!

Lulu and Friends...February 2021 Release Week at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

It's time for our February Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is a Krafty Komeback set by Cheryl Grant called.....

LULU AND FRIENDS!

This was originally released in rubber,

and we're excited to now bring it back as a clear stamp set!

I stamped Lulu and her froggy friend in Totally Taupe ink on Arches cold pressed paper and watercoloured this fun scene. The white dots and highlights on the water were created with Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof White. I used Marvelous Mocha to sponge around the edges and to stamp the sentiment which is also from the set.

Inspirational Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...What's Up Dude

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

It's my turn to play hostess for this weeks's post. 

My card features this cool guy from our What's Up Dude stamp set. I started by creating an inked background using our Brick Wall stencil. I first inked a panel of Neenah cardstock in our Granite Grey ink. Next I placed the stencil and inked over it with Ruby Red ink. To "grunge" up the bricks, I then added touches of Marvellous Mocha and Wicked Black ink while the stencil was still in place. After removing the stencil, I further distressed the brick by sponging around the edges with more brown and black ink, added some black coloured pencil and finally splattered some black acrylic paint to complete the wall. I stamped the sentiment from the set in Wicked Black ink to look like graffiti. I then sketched in the sidewalk and coloured it with copics. Our "dude" was stamped on a separate piece of Neenah cardstock in Totally Taupe ink, coloured with Copics, fussy cut and adhered to the background.
