Kicking off the August 2020 Sneak Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

The August Krafty Peeks begin today and you're not going to believe the fabulous goodies we have in store for you this month! As you may know our August release is always focused on Fall and Halloween!! 

We are kicking things off with the perfect FALL stamp from artist Neda Sadreddin and it's called...

IT'S TURKEY DAY!!

Check out these adorable pilgrims and the super fun turkey!! Won't these just make the cutest Thanksgiving cards! This set also includes 5 awesome sentiments and 2 accessory stamps!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the IT'S TURKEY DAY! stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new AUGUST Kraftin' Kimmie products.

One perfect for all your spooky cards and the other a fabulous must have pattern for any occasion!  

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release! The package includes mini enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours!

These ones are called

 HALLOWEEN DOTS!

You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of August Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends facebook group on Saturday, August 15th at 2 pm EST.

I stamped all three main images on Neenah cardstock in our Wicked Black ink and coloured everything but the clothing in Copics. I paper-pieced the clothing with the design paper and added some additional shading to the pieces with copics. After fussy cutting the images, I adhered the pilgrims to the design paper and added a bit of grass with copics. I stamped two of the sentiments in Wicked Black ink. Taking inspiration from the lower sentiment, I attached the turkey with a "wobble" to create a moving component on the the card. Honestly, these wobbles might be my new favourite thing!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August 2020 Skrappy Challenge

Good morning krafty friends!

It's AUGUST and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE
with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize.

I recently bought a travel journal after seeing Kimmie create some beautiful journal pages. And then she started the Krafty Journal Group on Facebook. Problem is, I couldn't figure out what to do with mine lol. So I decided to start simple by creating a watercoloured panel for my front page. I painted a very loose background in some pretty colours, added a stamped flourish and then heat embossed a sentiment and several butterflies from the newly restocked Butterfly Dreams stamp set. I also added some Stardust Stickles and tiny rhinestones as finishing touches. 

You have until Monday, August 31st to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Christmas in July at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Good morning and welcome to another 

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

This week our challenge for you is:

CHRISTMAS IN JULY!

I watercoloured a little winter landscape for a simple tag then added a heat embossed sentiment from The Magic Of Christmas. I also added the little Santa from Holiday Village (also heat embossed). The snowflakes were spattered with thin white gouache and finishing touches included a bit of stardust stickles.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a 25$ voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Anything Water...a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to another 

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This week's challenge for you is: ANYTHING WATER

I created a bookmark with the new BE A MERMAID stamp set. She was stamped in Totally Taupe ink on Neenah 110# paper and coloured with Copics. I fussy cut her and placed her on some mermaid/underwater themed design paper. The edges were inked in Whimsical Wisteria ink. The sentiment from the Unicorns and Rainbows set was heat embossed in black. And what mermaid project is complete without some glitter?? I edged the bookmark in Thistle Stickles and coated her tail in Stardust Stickles. In place of a tassel, I added some fun ribbon, bakers twine and a wooden dollar store anchor painted with acrylics and coated in more Stardust Stickles.

July 2020 Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Woot!  Woot!

Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new 'trendy' things in our JULY Release that are NOW AVAILABLE

Long In the Tooth...Another July 2020 Release Peek from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

It's Day THREE day of 

July Krafty Peeks
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

It's our FINAL day of peeks and everything you've seen us share this week will be in the online shop on Saturday afternoon!

We are closing out the festivities with a brand new seaside stamp set from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen called....

LONG IN THE TOOTH! 




This set includes five main images plus some accessory hats and several amazing sentiments!  

Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item.....with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!

I stamped out one of the walruses from Long In the Tooth on Arches cold pressed paper in Totally Taupe ink (including one of the accessory hats) and watercoloured a seaside scene. I used a bit of white gouache for the waves along the shoreline. The vintage themed papers are from Graphic 45.

I used the two female characters from Trendy Tees and the ribbon from Trendy Tees Icons to create a breast cancer awareness card. The images were stamped on Neenah cardstock in Totally Taupe ink and coloured with copics.
