Welcome to the March Skrappy Challenge
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
Make sure it's a NEW creation and as soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!
I made these mini watercolour palettes as gifts for the girls at Kimmie's birthday/late Christmas party last month. We often do a "favourite things" gift exchange, so I wanted to share my favourite watercolour brand, Daniel Smith. This palette consists of the split primary set (warm and cool shade of each primary colour) that was my first Daniel Smith purchase...so many mixes possible from this little set! I used empty gum packages to pan the six paints. I then cut and scored a little folder (similar to a match book) from plain cardstock to house the palette and added a velcro closure. To decorate the cover, I used a combination of our inks (Pretty in Pink and Raspberry Rose) with our Happy Hearts stencil. I spritzed a bit of glimmer spray over the stencil for just a wee bit of sparkle. The sentiment, stamped in Wicked Black ink, is from our Let's Get Krafty set.
For this challenge, you can make Anything BUT a Card...
bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp

You have until Monday April 6th to play along AND you can join as many times as you like. Be sure to share your creations on the Krafty Friends facebook page because we LOVE to see your stuff!
