Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the March Release
HAMMIN' IT UP!!
I absolutely LOVE this set! I'm aging myself here, but it brings back fond memories of watching Hammy Hamster in the mornings before school lol. This card is really simple to make...no design paper used at all! I started with an A2 sized card base and used our new Radical Rectangles stencil to create these layered colour blocks...I love that the stencil includes the "cut outs" from the rectangles that can be used as masks for layering! The inks used for the blocks include the new Rich Rust along with Soft Sage, Sandy Shores and Magical Midnight. I used a multiliner to doodle around the rectangles. I then stamped the little accessory stamps all around the white areas, coloured them with coordinating polychromos coloured pencils and added some random dots with the multiliner. I stamped the sentiment and hamsters in Wicked black ink. The hamsters were stamped on kraft paper and done in coloured pencil (mostly polychromos with a white luminance for highlights).
Here's a look at the stencil:
Check out HAMMIN' IT UP as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs! You'll also see the new stencils, Add-Ons and hybrid ink along the way. Be sure to leave some love at each stop on the hop because there will be a giveaway for some krafty $$ to the shop!
