Kraftin' Kimmie's Spring Tea Party Kit...Preview #4!!!

By now, you have met almost the entire cast of the Spring Tea Party Kit available exclusively at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps online store!! The Krafty Girls have been previewing a different image each day since Tuesday, and we will be wrapping it all up on Sunday March 7, 2010 with a BLOG HOP!!

So, you have seen "Nadine", "Giselle" and "Henri". Well, today you will be introduced to "Lisette"!! Annie Rodrigue brings such fabulous characters to the stamping world. They are so much fun to colour and create with! I am in love with this Tea Party set, as it opens so many fun possibilities for gifts, cards, invitations...whatever you can think of!! I have many friends who I meet with for coffee or tea, so I plan to put these images to good use!

Ok...here's "Lisette"!! I always love what Annie does with her characters' hair!! Look at this fantastic do! "Lisette" is a little more casually attired than the other girls attending the tea party, but she is still looking fabulous! Imagine that...there's that "French Flea Market" paper from MME again. What can I say, it's gorgeous!
One of the features I love about the MME paper packs, is that they come with die cut borders and tags. I traced one of the tags onto some of the other paper in the kit and adhered "Lisette" to it. Once again, I used sentiments that are included in the Spring Kit!

Well my friends, the Krafty Girls will be presenting the fifth and final Tea Party image tomorrow during the weekly Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge at the Krafty Girl Challenge Blog. Have you ordered your kit yet?? I hope you hurry and do so, because it's a limited time offer! Remember you will only find it at Kraftin' Kimmie's online store. How can you resist....it's such a bargain!!
You know the drill...time to go and visit the other Krafty Girls! Their links are both in my sidebar and on the Challenge Blog.

See you back tomorrow morning!
Melanie

Kraftin' Kimmie Spring Tea Party Kit...Preview #3!!

(I have two posts today! If you are looking for my Sweet 'N Sassy post, just scroll down or click here! )

Good morning!! I hope you have been enjoying the previews of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Spring Tea Party Stamp Kit! The Krafty Girls have been busy showcasing a different image from the kit each day. We started all the fun on Tuesday, so if you missed any of the days you can always scroll back on our blogs to see all the Tea Party fun!

Tuesday we introduced you to "Nadine", and Wednesday belonged to "Giselle". Today, we are showing you the gentleman of the party...meet "Henri"!! Oh, how sophisticated he is with his bowler hat and moustache! I just love the look on his face...look at him, leaning so casually on his cane. Who wouldn't want to go enjoy a java break with such a fine gent!

"Henri"was of course stamped on my favourite Copic compatable paper (Neenah). (Question for my readers here...do you like to see a list of the markers used?? I'm not in the habit of recording my colours, but I can start trying to do so if there is the interest. Leave me a comment to let me know.) Once again, I used that fabulous My Mind's Eye paper "French Flea Market"...oh how I LOVE the colours in this paper! (I'm thinking I should pick up another pack, lol!!) I didn't want this card to be fussy, so I left the layout very simple. I masked "Henri" and sponged around him with Distress Ink in Antique Linen followed by Memento Rich Cocoa. The sentiments featured on this card are part of the Spring Kit! I used "Henri's" accessory stamp, the "Sugar Bowl", on the inside of my card.

So, do you have a favourite so far?? We still have two more feature images to preview over the next two days, followed by a fun Blog Hop on Sunday! Now stampers, word has it these kits are moving fast...so please don't wait! Get yourself over to Kraftin' Kimmie's online store and order yours now! The price on this kit is fantastic, and Kimmie is currently offering a 10% discount on the set! Remember this kit is exclusively available at the online store.

Time to hop around to the other Krafty Girls to see what they've made with "Henri"!! (psst...I already know you will be impressed, cause they are fantastic!!) There are links to their blogs in my sidebar, as well as on the challenge blog!

See you back tomorrow morning

Melanie

Sweet Birthday Wishes

(This is one of two posts today. If you are looking for my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Spring Kit preview, just scroll up or click here!)

Happy Thursday!! I hope you all have been having a fantastic week. It's been a busy one here! For my Sweet 'n Sassy project this week, I chose to work with "A Donut for Cocoa". Cocoa's been peeking out from behind all sorts of things over at the Sweet 'n Sassy store! Now, normally I would not be happy to find a mouse in my donut! lol But, with an image this cute I'll make an exception!

I printed Cocoa off on Neenah cardstock and coloured him with Copic markers. The icing was coated with Glossy Accents and the sprinkles were given some shimmer with Stickles. I cut out the image with my Circle Nesties and matted it with the Scalloped Circles. Before taking it out of the die, I sponged some Summer Sky Memento Ink around the image. (the sentiment is my own)

Make sure to take some time to hop on over to the Sweet 'n Sassy store to pick up some Digital stamps. Korin has been adding a ton of new images, so make sure to be checking the store frequently.

Oh, and as with every Thursday, it's Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Day over on our SNR group! I hope you find time to visit with us over there and participate in the chatting and the challenge!

Have a great day!

Blessings,

Melanie

Kraftin' Kimmie's Tea Party Set....Preview #2!!

Did you see the news yesterday?? Kraftin' Kimmie is offering you a limited time Spring Tea Party Stamp Kit, available exclusively at her online store!! Did you order yours yet? I suggest you hurry up and do so, because they are just flying off the shelf!

I am such a fan of Annie Rodrigue's images...I adore their quirkiness! While the images in this set are not actually "Alice" themed, they definitely have a "Wonderland" flavour! (btw...I am really excited to go see that movie!! I'm a huge Johnny Depp fan!)

The Krafty Girls are previewing one of five main images in the kit each day. Yesterday, we introduced you to "Nadine". Today, we are showcasing "Giselle"!

"Giselle" is so much fun. I love her outfit, complete with a tiny hat! As always, I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock and coloured with my trusty Copic markers. I paired her up with some gorgeous new paper I picked up by My Mind's Eye (one of my all time favourite paper companies). This is from the "French Flea Market" collection.

I also chose to make a gate fold card. I followed Jeanette Comerford's fabulous tutorial. You can find the link here. I included sentiments from the Spring Kit on both the outside and inside of my card. The little Teapot stamp is the accessory for Giselle.

Now, in the spirit of Kimmie's Tea Party Spring Kit, why not grab a cuppa tea or coffee while you hop around to all the Krafty Girl's blogs, as we are all previewing these images this week. You will find links to their blogs in my sidebar and also on the Challenge Blog. Don't forget to order your kit from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps online store before they are gone!

Check back with us bright and early tomorrow morning for image #3!!!

Blessings,

Melanie

Spring Stamp Kit at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

So, are you ready for the big Kraftin' Kimmie news?? How does a Spring Tea Party Stamp Kit sound to you?? Let me tell you, the Krafty Girls were thrilled when Kimmie told us about this...it's been killing me to keep this a secret! This kit is amazing! What will be in it you ask? Well, here's a list of the contents:
  • 5 main images by Annie Rodrigue
  • 5 accessories stamps
  • 2 sets of coordinating tea and coffee sentiments (created by Jeanne Streiff) with 32 phrases in total!
Now, don't go looking in your local store for this set. You will ONLY find it at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps store! Oh, and I wouldn't plan on waiting long to place your order, as this kit will be offered for a limited time only!!

So, are you interested? Would you like to see these images? Well, the Krafty Girls have been hard at work preparing projects with these new stamps! Starting today, you can hop around all the Krafty Girl's blogs to see what they've been making. (You can find the links to the Krafty Girl's blogs in my sidebar, as well as at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog!) A different image will be showcased each day on every blog. All this fun will lead to a blog hop on Sunday March 7, 2010!!

Ok, today we are introducing you to "Nadine"! Each main image will come with an accessory stamp, and Nadine comes with her "Milk Pitcher"...perfect for that plate of yummy cookies! I used my Nestabilities Labels 8 to make the card base. Both sentiments I have used on my card today are part of the Spring Kit!

I stamped "Nadine" on Neenah cardstock and coloured her with Copic markers.

I love all the sentiments that come with this kit...makes it really easy for decorating the interior of your cards! This is something I often forget to do...or am so tight on time, that I have to leave it plain. I also used the accessory stamp on the inside, and just shaded lightly with a Copic marker.

So what do you think?? Remember this kit is only available for a limited time exclusively at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Store. Kimmie has the kit up in the store right now, so don't hesitate or you may miss out on this incredible Spring Tea Party Stamp Kit.

See you back here bright and early tomorrow morning with the next image in our kit!

Melanie
